It's very intriguing and a lot of fun to practice. There is a learning curve but once you get the hang of the aerodynamics of flight it's really a brilliant design and a lot of fun with kids and adults. It's made with flexible material and isn't easily damaged from falls, running into walls or falling on the floor. When is does the ball automatically turns off to protect it from any damage making very durable for continuous playtime. Hold the ball upright with the "up" sticker pointing upward and shake to turn on the flying Orb. Turn the orb upside down and shake to turn off the orb. I highly recommend it for the whole family. Practice and there is a variety of things you can do and play with the orb. But the ones with an AI chip built inside. Trust me! ... show more

This is the third orb ball i purchased as a gift. Its easy to use and both adults and kids have a LOT of fun playing with it. The colors are vibrant and its quite sturdy (survived a 5 yo dropping a LOT). I recommend it.

Bought three of these for my kids during Christmas. Don't get me wrong, the kids LOVE them and have a blast throwing them back and forth. They do run out of battery pretty quickly and they are kind of fragile. One small piece on the cage broke and it threw the balance of the ball off, rendering it unusable. My kids are a little young for them (4-8), but my husband and the neighbor have had some fun throwing them back and forth from their yards.
