Welcome to the future, Wii. I’ve been neglecting mine ever since my TV lost its AV inputs, but this HDMI adapter completely fixed that. It’s well made, incredibly easy to use, and truly plug-and-play. The adapter fits securely into the Wii with no worry of it coming loose. Audio is transmitted through the HDMI cable, but there’s also a built-in headphone port if you prefer to use headphones, which is a nice extra feature. While the Wii was never known for cutting-edge picture quality, this adapter makes games look noticeably cleaner and more crisp than expected. I’m really glad I picked this up. It’s given my Wii a second life and lets me share the magic of the Wii with my son as well.

I ordered this Wii HDMI Converter to be able to take my old Wii console and use it with my newer LED flat screen TV. It works well for its intended purpose, is easy to use, and easy to set up as well. I question whether it is a full 1080P up scale but even if the picture is not as sharp as I would ideally would like, it serves its purpose well. Overall, I feel it deserves a solid 4-star rating. I hope this helps with your shopping experience.

With TVs losing older ports, it is good to find an adapter that allows for connection to modern TVs! It is compatible with Wii systems that don't have HDMI and functions fine. You won't have 4k quality but you'll be able to enjoy your console and games like you used to. It even includes a way to listen to audio (via corded headphone) to not disturb others if your TV or sound system does not have a way to connect with your headphones.

Getting our old Wii game system connected to a newer television seemed like it would be a hassle. But then I found this converter that plugs into the Wii and has an HDMI port. It came with the cable I needed and was exactly what I needed to start playing some classic games again. It felt good knowing it was likely from a small business, and they even put a thank-you card in the box, which was a nice personal touch. The package included both the converter box and an HDMI cable, so it had everything needed to just plug in and start playing right away. The converter plugs directly into the back of the Wii and has an HDMI port to connect to your TV. It also includes a port for headphones or external speakers, which could be useful, though I didn't use it since we just use the TV sound when playing as a family. Setting it up was really simple, and it worked perfectly the first time. Once it's hooked up, the converter successfully sends the Wii's picture signal to the TV through the HDMI connection. It works consistently without problems. However, it's important to remember that the original Wii system doesn't produce high-definition pictures. Not much to say here, other than that it just works. You plug it into the back of your wii, and then you can plug in an HDMI cable from there. My TV recognized it without issues, and it seems to display just fine. The output is only 480p, but that's more of a problem with the Wii and less of a problem with this adapter. I've been using it for the past couple weeks, and I've had no issues. Highly recommend!

While I can’t say the image gets any better by using this, I can say it definitely makes hooking up the Wii a lot easier! I have my TV up on the wall and I don’t like seeing wires, so I bought a cordless HDMI transmitter/ receiver set up. I really like it, but it didn’t have any RCA connectors on it - Only HDMI (Understandablly). Now, I can hook up the Wii to the transmitter and can play the games from it, all without seeing a single cord going up the wall!
