  • Best TV for the money
Size: 50-Inch
I needed another TV for the guest room. This 50 inch TV has all the bells and whistles on it (4K TV, SMART with Roku, google, Alexa, full array LED backlight LCD display, Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10 sound). The only weak point is the 60Hz (60 frames per second) refresh rate vs 120Hz. The picture quality, to my eyes, is clear, sharp, and bright colors. The sound quality is not stereo quality because it is difficult to build good base speakers into a <22 pound TV. An external sound bar or speakers could fix that but it sounds pretty good to me. I placed this TV next to my, much more expensive, ~48 inch, 4K, 120Hz refresh, LG TV and do not see any visual difference. This TV costs <1/2 the price as well so is a deal. The question I can't answer is how reliable is it or how long will it last? At this price, if it fails, I can buy another new one and still have saved money. ... show more

  • Take a leap of faith ! lol
Size: 50-Inch
I was honestly scared due to all the reviews about a damaged dv. Now don’t get me wrong my box did come fairly beat up with some tears around the edges BUT, my tv was perfectly fine! The set up was quick and easy. My old tv just broke 3 days ago and this came extremely quick. SN: remote does come with an HBOMAX button which does nothing now that it’s “MAX” and my Netflix doesn’t load for right now but Netflix doesn’t load for me most of the time anyway lol so not sure if that’s Netflix having a bug or the tv ... show more

  • Great vivid picture. Sound quality not the fullest.
Size: 50-Inch
Read other reviews and sound quality was reported to be great. It's solid, but lacks low end and even dialogue in shows sounds a little flat. Bought the $100 Sony SF-100 and it's perfect. Worth the extra $100 as the TV is great in all other areas and super affordable.

  • It's a lot of tv for the money!

Picture quality is very good for an inexpensive TV. Extremely easy to set up. It took about an hour to unbox and have it all set up. Hardest part was taking it out of the box. We bought the Hisense sound bar to go with it and other than plugging it in, no setup required.

  • Great TV if it works. Lousy Manufacturer with zero customer support on product malfunctions.

Purchased the 65" model with the Amazon Delivery and Unpack service. I hired a professional mounter to install on same day as delivery. It worked beautifully ... for 3 days. Then suddenly it had no picture when powered on. The backlight and LEDs came on and I heard audio indicators on remote button presses, but nothing but a black screen. The manual was of little help. I googled and performed a few basic troubleshooting steps I could find and finally called Hisense. First I went thru their automated support ("Jennifer") who (which) was pretty useless. Then I got thru to a live rep who walked me thru a series of tests, (unplug/replug, reset button, remote button press sequence) and in less than 3 minutes, she decided I needed to have a tech person dispatched ... "WITHIN THE WEEK" to assess the issue and decide if a replacement or repair was necessary. This would require a certain amount of documentation (receipt, photos of the black screen, etc.) and she walked me thru the process of submitting it all. I provided the model and serial numbers in the email I had to send. I was also told that the unmounting and remounting would be my responsibility since their technicians are not authorized to do that. The following afternoon I received a reply email that in order to assist me, I would have to send them "the" photo of the sticker on back (which had the serial and model numbers that I had already shared) as well as a photo of the "entire" black screen that I had "failed to provide" (because evidently an inch or so was cropped off what I had sent ... the bezel basically). I complied and sent the additional pictures within the hour. The rest of the day went by with no contact whatsoever. Their "support" line closes at 9PM so at 8:45 I took it upon myself to call and follow up. I was again informed of the pictures I'd neglected to send and I told the rep to look again, giving the timestamp of my email from earlier. She located it and put me on hold a few minutes. When she returned, she informed me that Hisense had "determined" that the unit had suffered "PHYSICAL DAMAGE" and that they therefore would be unable to provide a technician (or replacement/repair/refund). I explained that the TV had been mounted at a significant height from the floor and I asked how physical damage could possibly occur if nothing at all touched the unit or was even in the vicinity of it between the time when it was mounted and working and when it stopped. She replied "I have no way of knowing that." I responded "But YET somehow you magically have a way of 'KNOWING" that it was indisputably physically damaged, based solely on 2 photos of a black screen." "Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?" she answered. "Anything ELSE? You haven't helped me. What exactly am I supposed to do now with a brand new, 3-day old non-functioning unit that you refuse to even send out a technician to assess it." She suggested that I obtain (and pay for) my own technician and went on to suggest that had I purchased an "extended manufacturer's warranty," I might have more options. I said "Extended beyond what? Three days? YOU'RE the manufacturer. What is the warranty you DO provide then?" Again she reiterated I would have needed to purchase an extended manufacturer's warranty. I told her that since my time machine was currently out for repairs, that would be an impossibility. Again she asked "Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?" I'll refrain from sharing my response. I'll also refrain from EVER considering making another purchase from this ... "company." ... show more

  • TV was shipped without a remote.
Size: 65 in
Amazon cannot/could not send me a remote and told me to contact the manufacturer. Hisense required a bill of sale sent as a reply in an automated email that they sent to me. I copied the purchase info and sent it to Hisense immediately. I received no confirmation. A week goes by. I called Hisense & give them my "Case #". They have no record of it or the BOS I sent them. The rep was rude, talked over me, was obviously following the script. She sent me a new email that was the exact same as the 1st one that they never received. I forwarded the email with the BOS immediately as the rep was loudly talking about how I must have done something wrong before. She put me on hold to look at the BOS, came back on the call & told me it wasn't good enough and it was in a format that could have been edited and I had to send it directly from the Amazon site. She insisted that I send the BOS in a different format that could not be "edited or altered". When I asked if she really though I was falsifying a BOS to get a remote she got reiterated that I what I sent wasn't good enough. At this point I told her to keep the remote because I wouldn't need it as I was returning the tv and would be purchasing a different brand. ... show more
