  • NO GLARE--Unbeatable for a bright room or outdoor TV NO GLARE--Unbeatable for a bright room or outdoor TV
First, the bad: the Samsung operating system on this TV is horrible. I bought a Fire TV Stick 4k Max for it after just a week or two because the Samsung Tizen OS is super slow and doesn't have some basic streaming apps available (like NBA TV). With the Fire Stick 4k Max remote, you can power this TV on and off, adjust volume, and the Art Mode still works. My TV is a 2022 model so I don't know if the new Frame TV's have an operating system that is at least tolerable. I bought this TV for outdoor use. It is on my screened-in porch and I could not be happier. There is zero glare and that alone makes the Frame the best TV for outdoor use or a bright room. I started with a Hisense U7 because I read that it had a bright picture that was good for overcoming glare. It is true that a bright TV can overcome glare if you are watching a show that constantly has bright images--but as soon as you watch a darker scene in your show or movie, you will still see every light in your room reflected on the screen. For some reason, the Frame is the only TV I've seen that has a matte finish on the screen; all other TV's have a glossy finish that acts as a mirror when it comes to reflecting light. If you don't believe me, just go to Best Buy and compare the Frame to all their other TV's--the Frame is the only one where you won't see the bright Best Buy lights in the screen. I hate glare and find it annoying in even a relatively dimly lit room. If money was no object, I would replace my other TV's with the Frame just to eliminate the glare. Some reviews on the Frame say the picture is not as clear or sharp due to the matte finish, but it looks great to me. I guess that even if there was a trade off on the picture, I would still prefer the Frame due to the complete lack of glare. I have string lights around my patio, and even at night you can't see the bulbs reflected in the screen at all. About the only way you will see any glare is if the sun is shining directly on the screen (like shortly before sunset when the sun is low in the sky). In normal daytime light, there's just no glare or reflection on the screen. I also like the One Connect box that allows you to have only one wire coming out of the TV--I was able to easily hide that one thin wire and hide the One Connect box, so it's really a clean look. Another really cool thing is the Art Mode. Samsung will sell you artwork, but you can download your own artwork for free and load it onto the TV with a USB drive without too much hassle, so that's what I recommend. You can even customize a mat onto each piece of art or photograph which really helps it pop. I didn't buy a "frame" or bezel made specifically for the TV but I know some people love that too. Despite the horrible Samsung operating system, this TV is still an easy 5-star product for me, especially since the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k Max is pretty cheap. The Frame is easily the best TV I've owned. Two Year Update: I noticed that Rtings.com says this TV has reliability issues and the one they have failed. Mine is still going strong after 2 years of regular use. It is still my favorite TV because it has no annoying glare. Glare is just something that bothers me personally, but maybe it's not as big of a deal for a lot of folks. For me, my next TV will be another Samsung with an anti-glare matte finish--I see that they have started putting that finish on their high end TV's, and I think that's great. I see that a couple other manufacturers sell TV's with anti-glare, but I can tell you the Frame's matte screen is excellent for eliminating glare completely. So, after 2 years, this TV still is glare-free with great picture. The Samsung operating system is still terrible, but the Roku device still eliminates that problem. ... show more

  • Do not buy
Horrible. Lasted two years and half of the screen went black. Do not buy this. Samsung does not care about sustainability and many of these tvs will be ending up in the landfill after only a few years.

  • This TV is amazing! This TV is amazing!
I’ve owned a lot of TV’s and this one takes the cake. The motion blur is amazing and the quality of the picture on movies and TV is so good. What do appreciate the most is the quality and durability of the mount. Most TV mounts are god awful, but that one is great and it even comes with mounting hardware and a template. Even better is the native apps. I went from a Samsung 55” 4K that was bought about 3 years and this TV is way better than that one. The menus are very easy to use and the internet connection was easy to make as well as connecting to my PC. Great quality, 100% recommend!!!!! ... show more

  • I love it
I love this TV. It's the 2nd one I've purchased now. Looks fabulous as art (no need to pay for their subscription, if you can download it off the internet, you can upload it onto the tv). There is no reflection or glare. Works great as a TV as well. Sound and picture quality are great in my opinion. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Stylish Viewing with a Hint of Lag: Samsung The Frame TV
I recently upgraded to the Samsung 65-Inch Class QLED The Frame Series TV, and overall, it’s been an impressive experience. The TV doubles as a beautiful art piece when not in use, blending seamlessly with the decor of my room. The picture quality, thanks to Quantum HDR, is stunning. Colors are vibrant, and the contrast is striking, making for an immersive viewing experience. One of the standout features is the built-in Alexa. It allows for easy voice control, which has been convenient for day-to-day use. Whether it’s changing channels, adjusting volume, or exploring streaming options, the voice command feature adds a layer of simplicity and sophistication. However, I've noticed that the TV can experience minor lag occasionally, particularly when switching between functions. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of. This slight delay doesn't overshadow the TV's overall performance but is the reason for my 4-star rating. In terms of design, The Frame is sleek and modern. The ability to display art when the TV is off is a brilliant touch. It's a great fit for anyone looking to enhance their viewing experience while adding a stylish element to their home. Despite the occasional lag, it's a purchase I'm delighted with. ... show more

  • Love this TV
Easy to install and shipper did an excellent job packaging the product!! I love all the art work we have access to. It definitely looks like framed art now instead of a TV screen which was the whole point. No more eye sore in the living room. My only regret is waiting too long to purchase. I went with 65” but going bigger would have been a good idea. ... show more

  • This tv stinks!
This TV SUCKS! The software on it is not good. You cannot shut it off, you have to constantly reset it, when you are in a rush to get a game on the screen goes blank. You have to keep connecting and reconnecting to wifi. Dont buy this.
