Sometimes it works when the code is entered and most of the time not. Have to carry a key to ensure getting in. The phone interaction is ok but you have to be close to the lock to work it. If I am not mistaken I have never reviewed a product before and that is after buying literally thousands of things on Amazon. The Hornbill is a great lock with amazing features, you already know that from reading about it and obviously reading this review. But here is the part I wanted to talk about. Yes, I originally did have an issue and I am sure it's very rare, but you know what the company did, not only did they spent a ton of time trying to get the first lock working they sent out a new one the second they believed I needed a new lock. Since I am not the most technical person I did have to get them on the phone again and here is where their customer service is like none I have ever experienced. They held my hand, never rushed me and got me through the entire process and now I have a great working lock with multiple options from Key, to Keypad, to Phone App, to Remote unlocking. I have nothing but respect for Hornbill locks and the people behind it!

Bought this in January of this year easy to install great to set up worked like a champ until it didn’t in the last week I have replace the batteries four times with brand new batteries that I have bought from the store and four times I have been locked out of my house and had to crawl through a window because in the interim it quit wish I was still within my ability to return this or ask for a refund but I’m not so buyer beware it might work great for other people but apparently it only works great 10 months. Will be purchasing a different brand today

Had no problems installing the lock and syncing it to my lock app. Blue tooth worked great but couldn’t get the WiFi working. Customer service got untouched with me through text and text me through it. At this time the lock is working great

Easy to install, hardest part was connecting it to alexa which based on reviews wasn't uncommon, but thanks to the internet, not impossible. Works with my alexa, voice activation, kid friendly yatta yatta yatta I love it.

When I first opened the product, I was overwhelmed. However, I followed the directions for the installation. The issue I had was getting the device to lock and unlock. Also couldn't find the correct app to download. I called customer service. They texted and then Facetimed with me. They guided me through the process and got my device to work. They were so nice, professional and easy to worth with. I'm so happy with the lock.

Disregard what others have said..as long as you A.pay attention to the diagram how your door opens..its set as if you're coming home facing the door B.the little toggle switch inside the part that attaches on inside is on the right setting C. When you go to input your password and user id remember to put the + sign before your number and thia door lock is amazing and will serve its purpose
