  • Worked great to bring one keyboard/mouse/screen to multiple computers
Style: 4x1 KVM Switch
This works great - I have a security system and three computers/servers connected to it. Now I am able leave it on security cameras most of the time, but get to the servers when I need to. Much more convenient than the second monitor/kbd/mouse that I was swapping around between the three computers. No problems at all in several months of use - this is exactly what I needed. ... show more

  • Performs well, good value
Style: 4x1 KVM Switch
I bought this to replace a Tesmart KVM that was failing. Right now it's connected to two PCs and a MacBook Pro. Switches well between devices with some minor quirks. I'm using a wireless mouse and keyboard with no problems. Outputs HDMI audio to my monitor which I then send to my soundbar. This is an improvement over the Tesmart which worked inconsistently over HDMI but did have an analog audio out. It is also smaller than the Tesmart and I appreciate that it uses USB-A connectors rather than USB-B. I haven't tried hooking up my webcam, microphone, or printer yet but there are enough ports for all of them. The wired remote is the only thing I don't really like. The Tesmart had a wireless remote and also keyboard shortcuts which were pretty convenient. But given that right now this is about 1/3 the cost of a comparable Tesmart, I'll learn to live without that missing feature. ... show more

  • Great Value for the Price.
Style: 4x4 USB Switch
I have a business that repairs electronic devices and troubleshoot networks and networking devices. I bought this device so I could use many devices with one Network device, one SSD or HDD, one mouse and one keyboard. This device allows me to switch my test bench peripherals to many different devices depending on which one I'm currently working on. The quality is decent, the included remote works great, and I've been very impressed. I would recommend this product. ... show more

  • ⚠️ Messed Up My Mac Display Settings – Even After Removal!
Style: 4x1 KVM Switch
I purchased this KVM switch to toggle between my Mac and Windows work machines—a simple need, no gaming or high refresh rates required. Unfortunately, this device completely screwed up my Mac’s display settings in a way that I’m still trying to fix. After connecting it, my Mac stopped recognizing 4K@60Hz, forcing me into 30Hz, which makes everything feel slow, laggy, and unusable for daily work. Even after disconnecting the KVM, resetting display settings, and rebooting multiple times, my Mac still refuses to detect 60Hz. Before using this device, I had no issues—same cables, same monitor. It seems like the KVM interfered with how my Mac reads the monitor’s EDID (display identification data), and macOS is now permanently stuck in a lower refresh rate mode. If you’re a Mac user, beware—this could mess up your display settings even after you stop using it. Returning it ASAP. If you need a KVM for Mac and care about resolution/refresh rates, look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Significantly exceeded my expectations
Style: 4x4 USB Switch
I've had some problems finding a USB3 switch box that works seamlessly with my Wireless mouse and keyboard between multiple computers running Windows and Linux. The problem I've typically run into in the past is that my wireless Microsoft keyboard's USB dongle didn't seem to play nicely with the other USB 3 switches I tried... until this one. This KCEVE USB 3.0 Switch switches absolutely seamlessly between my 3 different computers without issue. Furthermore, the model I received appears to be an upgrade over what's shown: The LED indicator lights are now larger and brighter and the text labeling on the unit itself is greatly improved and no longer backwards (input and output ports used to be reversed). To summarize, this is one of the best products I've ever purchased for such a reasonable price and from my experiences, it's rock-solid and out-performs more expensive switches: 5 STARS! Cons: None. ... show more

  • Best 8K KVM at this price point
Style: 4x2 KVM Switch without audio
I was looking for a HDMI 2.1, 2-monitor, 4-computer KVM, and this is the best among the three I tried at this price point. Here's what I found: - EDID - It's not the full-featured variant; if you switch from PC-1 to PC-2, PC-1 will stop sensing the monitors, but it does keep the windows in place when switching back. Other KVMs w/ EDID at this price point also behave the same way. - HDMi-CEC - Surprisingly, this does pass through the HDMI-CEC Power-on signal, which is supported by M3 and M4 Macs; i.e., if you're connecting it to a TV instead of a monitor, waking up your Mac will also power on the TV. It doesn't pass through the Power-off signal, which is fine and probably the desired behavior because you wouldn't want the TV to be turned off while switching PCs. None of other KVMs I tried support HDMI-CEC passthrough at all. - Stable 4K 144hz signal. Some of the KVM I tried will occasionally blank the screen for unknown reasons. - It's not a DDM-class KVM, so all the USB devices will go away when you switch PCs. However, the other KVMs I tried have additional issues with unplugging/plugging USB devices. This one works as expected. All in all, a good KVM for the money. ... show more
