So, my application is upgrading my kitchen countertop griddle, so this is probably twice as big. That isn't to say the old one was small, it had more surface area than I would have if I put my biggest pans on all of my stove burners, which is why I liked it so much. It is a clean design and well built, the only complaint I'd have would be the grease trap pan, which is only slightly better built than if you made it from tin foil and being so thin has very sharp edges. But that's one of the least important aspects of this machine. The best part of this unit is the cooking surface. It's cold rolled 8mm thick carbon steel, not just thin sheet stainless. That means there aren't hot and cold spots as I've seen complained about on other similar models. It also means that it works a lot like a cast iron pan, holds heat well and you can season it, to get a reasonable non-stick surface (not perfectly non-stick, but similar to having a good seasoning on a cast iron pan). It is built with stainless that comes with the protective plastic still attached. Unfortunately, they build it without trimming the connecting edges, this means that it gets folded over and attached to another piece of steel, meaning you're never going to be able to get that plastic out and worse, there are going to be little bits of plastic that are big enough to be seen, but too small to pull out. Another potential concern is that this is a 3000 watt unit that should be plugged into a 30-amp circuit with nothing else running on it. I don't have that. It does come with a Standard US three prong plug, so is 'ready to go', but my circuit is only 20 amps. If I turned it up all the way, I would pop that breaker. But, while it says it goes to 300 degrees, that is Celsius, in Freiheit that's almost 600 degrees. The cooking I do, rarely requires temps above 300F so hasn't been an issue yet, but if you need to get it all the way hot, you'll need to make sure you're wired for it. The grease trap hole works well, grease can't just run down the front (another complaint I saw on other units). It cooks great. I really like this unit, it was very reasonably priced and if this one got stolen, I'd buy the same unit again.

Fantastic! We use it all the time. Easy to clean and is a good size for all sorts of foods. Will buy again if this one ever stops, but it’s been going strong!!!! Worth the price for sure.

We use this griddle for so many things. It was easy to set up and easy to use. The size is perfect for the counter and works perfect. The heat distribution throughout the top is great. We make everything from breakfast to smash burgers. No reason to even go out anymore.

Dirty oil EVERYWHERE after cleaning this 3 times I still have dirty metal coming off this was definitely manufactured in a dirty plant and the oils are so toxic! I can’t cook for my family on this I don’t trust it!
