We purchased the water softener due to an extended stay at an RV park. Within the first few days we noticed how hard the water was coming from the park. We seen a neighbor using the water water softener and talked to them about it and we gave it a try. Great investment!! My wife said it was much better and well worth the money!!!

I ordered this RV water softener because my RV is located in a spot with a lot of calcium in the water. It's so bad that it visibly coated my sink drains with a calcium buildup after only a few months. I don't mind hard water for washing and showering, but it's no good to have calcium buildup on your pipes. This water softener should solve the problem. It softens the water a lot and is very easy to hook up. Some reviewers mention that the manufacturer doesn't recommend it for drinking, but I already have a filter for my drinking water which I would recommend for everyone anyway. If you have hard water where you are camping in your RV I'd consider this a must-have, if only to avoid plumbing issues down the road.

I initially sought quotes from five different plumbing services for the installation of a comprehensive home filtration system to tackle these concerns. The cost estimates varied widely, from $3,000 to $10,000. I undertook thorough research, which included consultations with my local water department to identify the specific treatment chemicals in our water, and had the water tested to ascertain the levels of chemicals, minerals, and sediment I aimed to eliminate. After a week of diligent research, I discovered a filtration product on Amazon priced at $329 that met most of my requirements.
