Just have the proper tools for the job and installation will be fine. Look up the wire colors if you have an old house. White to white and yellow to black. Blue might be neutral.

Thought this was a cheesy fan but I really like it - yes the blades are plastic but it really moves the air and the light is bright (but dimmable). This is a great find for small rooms that can't "accept" a full sized bigger fan.

I couldn't even tell when I was adjusting the fan, so If a guest was in a room, I'd have to explain it all and I simply can't be bothered when there are others out there with simpler remotes.
