I bought this to put in my girls' bedroom. With a sound machine, a peaceful alarm clock, and a night light all rolled into one, it makes perfect sense. Brightness: This clock is adjustable with levels between barely there and "staring directly into the sun". Whatever your needs may be, it's got them handled. Sounds: Volume, as with brightness, is highly adjustable. No Low-Medium-High only here, you have a large scale to play with to find your sweet spot. There are a good variety of sounds to choose from, 30-40 or so overall I'd say between the nature sounds and white/brown/red/whatever noise. Alarm: Alarm function works great and there are some pleasant alarm tones to choose from. The "sunrise" function is cute. Timer: It works. You can choose 30 minutes-a couple of hours. It would be nice if you could set the timer to turn off sound or light only, but it shuts both down if they are on. Cord length is a little short but manageable. I kept the quick reference card handy because the buttons are a little complex but I'm sure I will learn them with a little more time. My daughters are very happy with this and therefore so am I. It's a great little clock for the money and fills other needs as well. (Sound machine, night light)

I’ve purchased several sound machines over the years. Most are junk and sound cheap. Finally, a product that’s worth its weight in gold! The light is an orangish, soft glow light with 12 different intensities. I use level 1, and leave it on all night. It’s soft enough it won’t keep you up, but light enough that you can find your way to the bathroom in the dark. Or, you can just turn the light off. The sounds are as natural as you can get, short of Dolby stereo surround sound. You haver multiple choices of white noise and multiple choices of nature sounds. I have tinnitus, and have suffered with it for over a decade. This machine provides several different sounds that completely cover my tinnitus, giving me great choices to choose from. The “wind” makes my tinnitus drop to a zero, can’t hear it at all over the wind. I also like using the rain, which gives you a couple of different rain options. My wife enjoys the rain with soft distant thunder. A night of this stuff and you are in deep sleep for the night! It also has a great alrm so you can choose to wake to the sound of the ocean, or birds chirping in the forest, or several others! I use an Oura ring, and monitor my sleep. Since using this machine, I’m sleeping deeper, longer and feel refreshed in the morning. It makes me want to but 2 more, so when this wears out or breaks in 5 years or so, I’ll have another to use, and won’t have to worry that they don’t make this model any more. Also taking one to my condo out of state! This is the best sound machine I’ve ever used!

This is a great clock. I was surprised when it arrived by how small it was, but then realized it’s great for home use and also for travel. When I travel, I often have trouble sleeping in hotels, but I just returned from a trip, and having this clock with me, and my normal white noise at night, I slept great! This clock has 10 different white noise sounds, and 20 nature/music sounds to help smooth you to sleep. Despite being small, it has an amazing speaker that provides great sound. The time is very easily readable, even from a distance. The time display can base 4 different brightness levels, as well as an optional night light on the top that can be changed to many different colors and brightnesses. The clock comes with everything needed, including the usb charging cable and the even a usb adapter wall plug If you’re looking for a new clock, this is a great buy! I highly recommend
