I have owned the Mega Casa toaster by Whall for almost a year now. Amazingly, it still looks brand new! It consistently toasts my bread and bagels perfectly, and is very easy to use and maintain. The slots are wide enough to toast thick Texas toast slices, bagels, or even hamburger buns without the bread getting stuck, and holds thinner slices upright and securely. I use the toaster almost daily and it continues to perform exactly as promised. I was a bit leery about purchasing a toaster from a manufacturer that I had never heard advertised, but it has out performed my old “name brand” toaster that cost me twice as much and which NEVER toasted my bread evenly. I should have thrown it out years ago, as it was always the source of frustration. The buttons on the Mega Casa toaster are clearly marked and all continue to function properly. The crumb trays collect crumbs effectively and are far enough from the heating elements to prevent them from continuing to toast and burn, which my old toaster did all the time. The crumb trays slide smoothly in and out and don’t require you pushing a cheap plastic clip to release them. My expensive old toaster had clips that broke after a few months and the trays were constantly falling out and spilling crumbs all over the counter. I have been very pleased with my purchase, and highly recommend the Mega Casa toaster by Whall. It also looks modern and attractive on the counter and has been a good investment! ... show more

Most evenly toasted bread we’ve ever had - toasts almost all of the slice. Each individual toaster is different, ours at levels 3,4 and 5 would be, literally, toast and figuratively, carbon. Love the smooth top, so easy to wipe off. Do not like the cord coming out from the front one-third of the toaster instead of the back. After one week, would definitely buy again. ... show more

I ordered this toaster because I only have a toaster oven, which is not ideal for traditional toast. This toaster did the job perfectly! The toast was perfectly browned on both sides. There are many darkness and lightness settings. I like the #2 position as it lightly and evenly browns my toast while maintaining a soft interior. The slots are wide for bagels. I tried out quite a few different toasters from cheap to expensive. We eat a lot of toast in our house and use the toaster almost daily. Having a toaster that only toasts the bottom half or top half or uneven by sides is very frustrating when starting your day at breakfast time. This toaster definitely out performed all other toasters. We have had this toaster for a year now and I am very happy to say it has held up and been consistent in its operation since day 1.     • Excellent toaster, great look and slot size
This is a very good toaster. We will likely keep it and continue to use it until it dies. It meets all of our specifications, which follow: 1) The toast slots are of a generous size, both width-wise and length-wise, and we have no problem fitting all of our various different wide breads and toaster pastries in a slot, without issue. 2) It's attractive, easily cleaned and simple to use, yet has a couple of seemingly-useful additional features that we might one day use. 3) The style and color matches our other appliances. In an ideal world, it would have one more setting in between 2 and 3, though we can accept that limitation, but a free-range toast-time selector that didn't limit you to selecting 1 of 6 whole numbers would have been a better choice. However, since many toasters have the same limitation, not worth a "ding", in my book. Update: The original quirk we detected hasn't happened again; I have to conclude it was a fluke, and I have revised my review to reflect 5 stars. ... show more

I bought this toaster ten months ago. It met my needs - 4 slots and bagels - at a good price. It looked OK and it was easy to use. At the time, I was happy to discover that it toasted consistently and didn't jam. Based on my previous 5 toasters, however, I didn't expect much. Ten months later, this toaster has been an unexpected surprise. I've had no problems. It toasts consistently. It doesn't jam. It looks great, it's easy to use, and it's easy to clean. It had great ratings and we were tired of having to purchase a toaster from our local Walmart every few months. Of course, we were purchasing the cheapest toaster offered thinking we were saving money in the long run. Not so! There are 7 of us in our home and our toasters get used a lot.
