I've bought many sunshields over the years, usually the umbrella type, and I've found the best way to get a perfect fit is to take accurate measurements of your windshield first, and shop according to that, and do NOT pay attention to the advertisement recommending it for a car vs. truck vs. SUV. My Civic has a relatively large, square-ish windshield (as do Teslas), and the item that fit my vehicle the best was actually recommended for SUVs. Here's an installation trick that I think you will find helpful. Windshields have those black dots all the way around the perimeter of the glass. I discovered that you can install a normal sized thin strip of Velcro along the top of the glass, and it will be hidden from view from the outside because of the black dots. I used 4 small strips about 2" long, 2 near the corners and 2 behind the mirror, but theoretically you could do one continuous strip all along the top. Then I took the matching 2" Velcro strips, removed the adhesive strip, stuck them in onto their mate, and installed the sunshield onto the sticky backing. Next step is important, gently remove the sunshield and STAPLE the Velcro to it with multiple staples per piece so it can't come off. This trick does a better job of fully blocking the sunlight than just relying on the sun visors to hold it in place. I noticed the fabric on the corners tends to hang down because it's not part of the spring-loaded area, so if you want TOTAL light blockage best to install the Velcro in the extreme corner. ... show more

This is a pretty good sun shade! It’s very easy to set up and store back into the bag it comes with which is great! Just folding it back up and it’s not in the way taking up too much room I have a 15 grand Cherokee and it’s just a little bit big for mine, but can still be used and covers really well and I like that it has the Velcro straps to go around the rear view mirror making it easier to hang and stay up. The material is pretty durable and seems to be good quality as well! It does keep the car cooler but not dramatically cooler. But it does help with sun protection and the late summer heat!
