The Ninja is wonderful...so versatile. It does toast very well, but also bakes pizzas or up to a 9x13 pan of food or a cake.. or air fry or any of the other functions. Its amazing that it preheats to 400 in about a minute. The fact that it flips up is great, as it save most of your counterspace.

We’ve owned this for a couple years and it’s fabulous. We can fit a lot in it and use our regular oven much less. It’s quick to preheat so we pretty much just throw stuff in, pick our setting and push start. It toasts well. We use the bake setting the most. It’s one of the few appliances I’ve gotten in recent years that I would replace immediately if something happened to it.

I am currently on day 2 of owning this thing so, really, consider this a first impressions review. Firstly, the main draw: The flip-up feature. This really is a game changer and was chief amongst my reasons to buy this particular oven. I am happy to report that this feature works very well and gains me back a good amount of countertop space. It fits like a GLOVE flipped away under my wall cabinets. If you have low hanging wall cabinets, however, you'd do well to take a measure before purchasing to ensure you have access to this feature. This is what sets it apart from other products IMO. Secondly: The power cord. Its bad. Specifically, when plugged in, the power cord extends straight out from the wall and I think the manufacturer absolutely, positively should have opted for a low profile plug-in, especially since this is designed to flip-up to stow away. This is a serious negative as you're not able to place this in front of the power socket its plugged into without the front of the oven protruding past the countertop and nearly falling off. If you have a very small kitchen, take a moment to be sure you'll have adequate room. Finally, the real test: Cooking. So far, I have only reheated refrigerated pizza and air-fried some cheese sticks. To that end, this thing is a beast. The controls were easy enough to figure out without needing the manual. It has a great pre-heat feature which only starts running the timer after it gets to temperature, which is FAST. When set to 450F, pre-heating was less than 2 minutes. I was impressed. The food came out exactly as I hoped. They aren't kidding though, watch your food carefully when you first get it. Use the light. It can quickly burn your food if you're not familiar with convection and don't understand the lower cook times. My only other negative is theoretical: Cleaning. I don't think it will be TOO difficult, as the bottom tray is easy to lift out, but if you DON'T clean regularly I can easily see crumbs and debris piling up in the back when the oven is flipped up. I think the solution is probably just being proactive with cleaning it. For the lazy, maybe avoid this one. Overall impressions are very very good and, at the time I'm writing this, I'm not mad at the $170 sale price either. Go, Ninja, Go.

The toaster oven functionality and shape are great! I don't use it, but I really like the flip idea to save counter space. That dimensional profile is why I like it so much. To save space, I put my toaster oven in... the oven. It's the perfect size to fit the toaster oven and all the accessories and trays needed for it. The sear tray works really well. I get a nice sear on most thing I cook. Unless it's something really good sized like a big steak, it sears just fine. The air fry seems okay. Not the best, at least not with how I'm doing things. There is a bit of a learning curve for using this compared to your simple bucket style air fryer. -1 point for quality and service. My first toaster oven broke in a week. The display screen acted weird the first time I plugged it in. Then one week later the portion that chooses temp and time just stopped working. It was well within the return window, so I went to Amazon support. Amazon support page specifically said this product could be supported by the manufacturer. Since Ninja is a well-known brand and Amazon was directing me to it, I decided to contact them. My mistake! Should have just returned it to Amazon. I'm not some weirdo that hates on other nationalities, but man Ninja support was so hard to converse with. The accent was challenging; the support person was doing something weird with their headset. I had to tell them to stop touching the mic or moving around so much. They also didn't know anything about their products. They didn't know what a toaster oven was. Even with the model name and number they asked "what product is this?" multiple times. Finally, when they sorted out all the details, they said they needed to get on a video call to finish the support ticket so I can get my replacement. So, we switched to a video call, then they said I needed to "cut it". I had to ask 5 times what they were talking about. I finally figured out they wanted video proof that I cut the power cord of my toaster oven. To prevent fraud... okay weird but I get it. Then they casually tell me there will be a $18 shipping fee to send the replacement. AFTER I cut the cord! I could have gotten it replaced from Amazon for free and 2-day shipped. Well, the new one is here and working well so hopefully I don't have to deal with their support again. Besides that, the working toaster oven is great.
