We wanted a more elegant clock for our living room than a digital desk type clock. This one has Roman Numerals and is a light weight metal frame (aluminum I am guessing). The finish is an aged brass look with black hands. So far it is keeping accurate time. There is no second hand so it’s quiet. The 16 inch diameter is just right for our location. It’s great. The only quirky thing is that the distributor strongly recommends using a carbon (zinc) AA battery. I saw that in Amazon’s product description, but I thought I could get them locally. No one had them. But remarkably Amazon did. Buy them when you buy the clock. I will add that I used an alkaline battery for a few days awaiting the carbon batteries and have seen no difference in function. ... show more

It is durable, although the hour and secondhand seem a little flimsy, we don’t plan to be touching those. it’s pretty high above the pantry door, lol. Exactly the right size for my wall. It’s a beautiful burnished gold color which looks really classy. Comes with a wall claw to help hang it up too (I can’t drill holes in my apartment). Also love that it’s so silent! Very happy customer.

Clock stopped working after 2 days. My boyfriend followed instructions on the package because I guess this is commom for the dial to be too “tight” however it stopped working again the very next day. This item arrived poorly packed & obviously mishandled. I had to straighten the bent hands & chase my cat down for the little gear that fell out of the box which I would not have known about because no instructions were included. It is working & looks nice, but not worth the price.
