The bearings are true to size. Seem to be well made and restored the ride quality and eliminated the squealing and grinding noises I had. Yes, these fit my 2010 Schwinn Meridian rear axle. An "inside" bearing puller to get the old ones out is reccomended but not absolutely required. Make sure if you get bearing puller that all "legs" fit inside. Even then the axle support tube inside each axle housing comes very close to the bearings inside making it difficult to grab the inside of the bearing. I used a 2 x 4 board across the bearing face to install with no issues. ... show more

    • they're good once you add more grease

I have seen this for years with many other bearings, they cheap out on the grease that's inside the bearings. I use these in snowmobile idler wheels and before I even press them into a wheel, I remove both bearing seals and insert more grease. I discovered this one year when all the bearing went bad and I found they had next to no grease left in them after 1 riding season. I took a brand new bearing that I hadn't used yet and seen the lack of grease. Once you put more grease in them, they are perfectly fine and that's 5 stars. 2 stars because I shouldn't have to supply my own grease for a new sealed bearing. ... show more
