  • Does the job quite nicely
Style: 2700 Max PSI
First use review: Bought this to clean the deck, siding and car. I'd never used a pressure washer before. I was worried that 2700 PSI was not going to be strong enough. Now, I can't imagine what you'd need more for unless you're stripping paint! It's sturdy and appears to be quite well-made. All the hardware is heavy duty. It came mostly assembled and took about 15 minutes to put together. I like that it has a detergent tank. You have to switch the nozzle to the black one (very easy to do, just pop it out and in). It's a no-pressure nozzle. Apparently, the unit senses the lack of pressure and allows detergent to be mixed into the water stream. It works well. Treated wood deck: Using the yellow 15 degree nozzle was enough to clean away the grime and even some red paint from the sawmill. On the most exposed wood, it was actually splintering the top layer! But you have to go slow. The jets are most powerful at the ends of the spray stream. I found that aligning the nozzle so it's perpendicular to the wood helped avoid creating lines in the wood. You have to keep the nozzle a consistent distance (about 4") from the wood. You have to go slow, too. Pretty hard on my old back to do this job, though. I also bought a Janz 14" rotating surface cleaner to do the deck. On first use, was not doing the job. Just using the regular spray nozzle was WAY more effective. Going to try again today and go slower before sending it back. Dirty car: I started with the green nozzle. It wasn't powerful enough to take off the grime from driving in the snow. Switched to the yellow nozzle and it was better. I started by spraying with water, then detergent, then washing the car thoroughly. As it dried in the sun, it was obvious this method wasn't enough. Next time, I'll go over the car with a rag after applying the detergent, then giving it a thorough rinse. I was impressed with how clean it got the rims, though. Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase. It was easy to set up and easy to operate. Hopefully it'll hold up. I don't intend on going into business washing cars and decks, so I expect to get years of life out of the machine. ... show more

  • good for the money
Style: 2700 Max PSI
Easy to assemble, used once, worked great. hardest part was rolling the pressure hose back onto the hanger. have not used the soap dispenser, wish there was a valve to turn off and switch to water rinse.

  • This is a great pressure washer.
Style: 2700 Max PSI
I’m so glad I chose this pressure washer. I selected it after reading reviews of many other similar pressure washers. I had previously used a SunJoe pressure washer which was also a 2700 psi unit. The Westinghouse that I chose cleans so much better, probably because of its greater gpm output. Assembly of the machine was simple and it took only about 10 minutes to complete. I recommend purchasing the Westinghouse WPX2700e if you are in the market for a pressure washer. I think you’ll be happy with it, just like I am. ... show more

  • PSI and GPM capabilities are ideal for the average homeowner
Style: 2700 Max PSI
Delivers what it promises. Relatively easy assembly but handle pushpins were a challenge...tight is desireable but when the grip strength ain't what it used to be, it was challenging. Lightweight in comparison to my former gasoline powered so I am thrilled with the portability. This unit works quite well. Quality materials used in the construction and I look forward to many seasons of use. ... show more

  • This thing is a beast
Style: 2700 Max PSI
Bought this to replace a smaller electric unit that was failing after many years of use. The WPX2700e is without question money well spent. The unit was packed appropriately for shipping and arrived earlier than expected. Assembly could not be easier, literally 10 minutes. Do be sure to read the manual for proper usage, precautions, etc. Believe it when they say to use two hands when pulling the trigger on the spray gun. For a relatively quiet electric unit the power and cleaning ability at the business end of the lance is surprising. With my first use of the unit, I was able to make short work of cleaning an earth toned stamped concrete patio on the north side of the house, well-aged black stains and all. The power cord and high-pressure hose are long enough to accommodate various jobs without having to move the unit. The handle mounted cord and hose retainers are adequately sized and allow for unrestricted access. The large wheels make it easy to roll across the lawn or uneven surfaces while the low center of gravity makes it very stable when moving or stationary. Optional accessories you may consider such as an extension lance and a 45-degree curved extension, make the job of cleaning patios, etc. easier on the back. It's personal preference, not a shortcoming in the design of this unit or the package of accessories included in the box. If you are a homeowner looking for a well-made electric, well accessorized unit with a respectable warranty, look no further. You will not be disappointed with the WPX2700e. ... show more

  • Nice power washer. I carry it for washing our rv and toad.
Style: 2700 Max PSI
Do know that it does not like extension cords. It pretty much has to be plugged directly into an outlet. If not, it will shut down. That said, it is pretty low noise and supplies enough pressure to reach the top edges of out 13’ tall rv. Good power for washing cars and doing minor power washing of substances. Not the same pressure as a full sized gas washer, but that’s not what i bought so i didn’t expect it. I was planning to mount this in the nose of my RV, but with the switch being integrated into the motor housing, I’ve given up on that as i doubt it would stand up to exposure to road spray. Maybe i can find a way to shield it. Anyway, has worked well and so far no issues. When i first got it, it kept stopping like it was getting hot. I figured out that it was because I was using an extension cord. If plugged into an outlet, it never shuts off…so bad on me. Just FYI. ... show more
