My 11yr son is upper range of age for this but was excited to try it. The band is soft to touch and pliable instead of a hard plastic. The face housing is plastic so its not heavier like some other more metal ones can be. Although that makes it look like more of a kids toy watch if its for an older kid 10+. The 2 cameras are cool but dissapoint with resolution and image jumpiness blur. The side camera performed better though. The flashlight is a nice safety and convenient tool to have for kids....and when I asked him to look for stuff under a couch, he had his light and felt pretty proud about using it. Which is always nice to see. The content for sing a long songs and story books read are the usual child songs and stories. Limited time to be interesting but i wouldve loved this watch as a kid. Reminders and activity things can be set, games are simple but even i found myself playing and realizing an hour went by. They entertain and certainly for the young 12 and under ages can have a fairly large child content watch with useful tools to use to learn telling time and click and swipe away exploring the watch. Battery will last days if not actively using for hours. Otherwise itll be dead before a day is finished for sure. Is it an apple or samsung watch ios or android for kids? No but its less than a tenth of the price and wouldnt need insurance and its for KIDS swiping, learning and somewhat game entertaining on a fairly content rich device you dont need to worry about getting destroyed. Only real complaint is it has micro-usb charge plug instead of usb-c.

To be honest, I ordered this smart watch because it was light blue (my 10 y.o. doesn't like pink/purple anymore). So really, all this watch had to do to get her approval was not be pink and tell the time. But aside from that, the watch has enough functionality to be useful, but not so much that she's distracted by it. She can wear it to school and turn off all other apps besides telling time. She uses the camera occasionally to take pictures (the pixel quality isn't great, but it's good enough for her). There are games and stories on the phone; she sometimes plays the games, but I think she's too old for the stories. You can download music onto the watch and we will probably do that so she has her favorites on hand. There is a habit tracker app (wake up, walk dog, brush teeth), but I don't think we'll use that either - she's old enough that she knows to do those things already by knowing what time it is. I could see that being really useful if you had a forgetful child, though.

I'm so glad I found this smart watch for my son. He always wants to use my Apple Watch and of course it's too advanced for him. This watch is just perfect. It caters to kids and gives them a fun break in the car or while waiting at the doctor's office. I'm so happy he has his own watch now!

My daughter is 7 and she really wanted to like this watch. She was very disappointed because it seems like it is more for toddlers than older children. The programed songs are nursery songs. The games are also very glitchy and lag which is odd considering that it doesn't require internet connection. The watch itself is nice quality but doesn't stay lit up with the time so she has to constantly wake it up to see what time it is when she is wearing it. The camera function doesn't make sense with the placement on the watch. When she tried to take selfies with the front camera, she was never centered, she was always very low in the screen. The side cameras have her twisting her wrist in uncomfortable maneuvers so she ended up taking it off to take pictures. She wore it for a day and then got frustrated with it and hasn't used it since. Might entertain younger than 5 but definitely NOT older. Disappointed.

Got this for my 7 year old. One of the aspects I appreciate most about this watch is its durability. Kids can be rough with their toys watch, but this watch seems to withstand it all. The straps are adjustable and comfortable for their wrists, and the touchscreen is responsive, even for young children.
