Works great for my garden. I must note that my garden area has been tilled up for years so no breaking new lawn area. My main goal for buying this electric tiller was to do general tilling for weed control while my garden is growing. It’s small enough to fit in the rows. Has plenty of power. It replaced my BCS Mini cultivator 2-stroke I bought new years ago which was my primary tiller. Got tired of hard starting and almost annual carb replacements to keep it going. I have easy access to 120v power so it works for me. I’m very happy with the Wen 120v tiller. I got this in today and decided to use it to fix where the dogs tore up the ground. It did well seeing that it is light and the soil is really rocky. It was much quieter than a gas one and should be less maintenance since I don't plan to us it often. It was easy to assemble and to use as well. Plug in, press the safety, and pull the trigger. The wheels help to move it where you want and they store up during use. Overall the quality is good but I did bend a few blades on the rocks. I was able to bend them back with a 18 inch F wrench easily enough. The tiller preformed in dry soil than in muddy soil. ... show more

Initially I was very skeptical about purchasing a tiller cultivator at this low end price, that is until I received it and used it. This tiller cultivator does an 18 inch wide path and to a depth of 8 to 10 in. It's easy to put together, us about 5 minutes tops and right out to the Garden we went. I thought oh well we'll have to run this back and forth a bunch of times to get it to the depth we wanted but it was surprisingly fast and only took one or two passes to break the dirt up and till it so we could do our planting. The only thing you have to remember is if you're breaking up fresh ground, and this tiller does that amazingly well, is that you have to stop and take all the material that builds up on the blades off, But that's something you have to do with all tillers cultivators. I would not hesitate to rebuy this item at some point in the future when we wear it out. It is a very good quality, sturdy product that I'm very glad we purchased. ... show more

I love this new tiller. Our old one was so huge and heavy. In the past, my husband would have to do all the tilling. I did my whole garden in a few hours. It is light weight and very easy to handle. I love the fact that I don't have to put gasoline in it. It does throw rocks up, and you need to be mindful of the electrical cord, but I am very happy with the purchase. This is a good electrical tiller for simple to Midwest landscaping. It dug through rocks and dirt. Works better pulling back but ultimately I worked the soil on both directions. Solid construction. It hit and kicked up some decent size rocks.

I’ve used Wen products in the past and was always pleased. So when looking for a tiller for my 600 sq ft garden I thought I’d give this a try. I got tired of renting a gas tool and didn’t want to invest a lot of money into something used once a year. So at this price point I thought it worth a shot. And I wasn't disappointed. Very strong motor and good sharp blades at a decent depth. It bounces a little because of its lighter weight over a gas unit, but it wasn’t a problem. I could control it easily. I would suggest getting a heavy extension cord because of the motor amperage draw or you may overheat and damage the motor. Hopefully will last. ... show more

I was looking for an affordable, small tiller to redo an area for a above ground planter. This worked. It was affordable, powered, and lightweight. It did the job. It's not perfect though. It'll fly on you so you have to be ready and steady. This got away from me especially by the wall. This is my only tiller so I have no point of comparison. I like the price point vs others. I didn't need a professional one. And its small enough to disassemble and leave outside in one of my storage boxes. If I was doing a whole yard though, I can see possible frustration if the dirt is too impacted and this thing runs away from you.
