This wen unit is great with 3400 psi, runs well, gets your job done much faster than my old 2700 washer price was great. The tip below may save you some misery, if you run it with dry cylinder walls it will shorten the life of the engine. WEN 3400 PSI Gas Pressure Washer with 223cc Engine, 2.7 GPM Flow Rate and Onboard Soap Tank (PW224G) Soon as you receive this pressure washer here is the tip...pressure washer engine is shipped with the cylinder walls completely dry no oil like any other small engine sold, you should lubricate the cylinder walls through the spark plug hole before anything else!! once you get oil inside the chamber work the pull rope multiple times, to coat the cylinder walls about 3 oz oil. Also put oil in the crank case until after the cylinder walls are lubricated (THIS WILL SAVE YOUR PISTON RINGS FROM DAMAGE) a little messy to drain but hey you bought it right. I am pleased with my unit! The weakest part on ANY pressure washer is the water pump! never ever ever! Allow the washer to run more than a minute of idling as the water in the pump is not flowing enough to cool the pump components and quickly overheat, if it does, it will quickly turn to a brick, (THAT IS ANY BRAND OF PRESSURE WASHER). Having issues with non starting engine? Buy some "mechanic in a bottle" 1-OZ per gallon and pull starter rope 4 times without starting it, then wait 10 minutes and start the engine, it will save your blood pressure! My only con is the pressure washer hose and the included wand is at best so so. As every other washer unit sold comes with same hose quality hose and wand. Spend the bucks get a pro 50 ft hose and wand you will thank me later. NUFF SAID ... show more

Was obviously sent one that was either returned or didn't get checked for quality control. Missing bolts on the choke grate, started for ten minutes and then stopped and won't start back up.

Only 4 stars because the pump was loose and not securely fastened to the engine. I always check through any small engine equipment that I buy before running, and it’s a good thing I did with this one. The pump is added after they test run the engine for QC. The pump is obviously installed afterwards because they never finished bolting it on. The bolts were only fastened halfway. Most every bolt on the engine had a blue mark, indicating they checked the torque, but not the pump to the engine. I will say that once I finished mounting the pump to the engine, I ran it and the pressure washer performed beautifully. I also own two WEN 11,000w generators, and a log splitter. No issues with those pieces of equipment. ... show more
