This was my first time buying from Amazon and it did not turn purple when mixed with the developer like the ones from the beauty store and turned my hair orange!!!! I will disclaim that I fried my hair with bleach before using this, so it is entirely possible that the failure of the product was on me and my hair was just too far gone to absorb any of the toner at that point. However, I was able to get actual semi-permanent, vibrantly colored hair dye to take on that hair with very little tone discoloration, so I am not sure. It was my first time using it. Also, it REEKS. Mix together in small amounts as you go, or it will off-gas all at once and burn your nostrils. I'll stick to using Schwartzkopf brand toner since it actually works and it doesn't smell terrible. ... show more

Maybe because I don’t have bleached hair don’t do the work that I was expecting I’m light blond and I letting my grey hair grow so I want a lighter color to make the process easy but didn’t work so now I curing my hair once a month to help the process
