I haven't had this long (~5 charges) but compared to lead-acid, what a difference! This is now my 50 lb thrust trolling motor battery and I couldn't be happier. Higher end batteries of this type can be several hundreds of dollars. This one was in the $250 range. It has a 10 year warranty, which is double most, but even if it lasts 5 years, that would bring it into the same price range of a couple of lead-acid batteries. A single charge lasts significantly longer than a lead-acid battery so I no longer worry about running my motor on '5', for fear of losing power before I'm done fishing. The weight is also about half, which is important in my 12' fiberglass boat. And charging, which often wasn't complete by the next morning, with a lead-acid while on fishing trips, is complete in the middle of the night with this LiFePO4. Note that this battery type requires special charging, but most chargers, even low end ones, now have this option. While this review mainly focuses on the advantages of LiFePO4 batteries, and not this brand, I haven't had it long enough to single out brand differences. I will say though that the price of this one stands out as do warranty and how solid it appears. I'll update this review if I learn more over time. UPDATE Jan. 2, 2025: I used this battery fishing lakes all summer and on several trips in the fall. It is still performing as well as it did when I got it and I have nothing but great things to say about it. For a trolling motor, pass on buying lead-acid and go LiFePO4. If the price remains good, this brand has my strong endorcement!

Impressive discharge current! The safety/protection circuitry works as advertised, and cuts off power when the voltage is low or too much current is drawn, then it resets itself. It's a little heavy, around 25lb, but it's lighter than most other battery technologies, and the handle makes it easy to carry

I got this battery (100Ah LiPo) to replace my 50Ah AGM deep cycle for my small inflatable with a 20HP outboard. I was unaware that a deep-cycle battery is not suitable for starting a gas motor as the 50Ah seemed to do the job. I was replacing the 50Ah since it did not have enough stored energy to run the trolling motor long enough to get my loaded boat back in an emergency. After getting the new battery I was very impressed with its lightness and appearance. After 3 boat trips and 3 months (wintertime) I realized there was a real problem with the battery. It would 'disconnect' about 50+% of the time when starting and I would have to use the pull starter - even out on the open ocean. I took my time troubleshooting and eventually came to the conclusion that I had a defective battery. I contacted customer service and they had a pleasant and helpful chat with me over the space of several days - They are most likely in Asia. End result is they felt the battery I bought was not suitable for my boat and sent me a return label even knowing that the battery being returned is most likely perfectly fine. Initially I was disbelieving, since my 50Ah AGM battery worked fine, but as I did more research I was the uninformed one. I now know that: DEEP-CYCLE is for sustained loads STARTING-is just that, for starting Want both? Get a Dual Purpose. I bought the wrong type of battery, and Weize accepted the return. Cudos to them.

We purchased two of these 100 AH batteries through Amazon from Powermall. We were making the upgrade for our RV from AGM to LiFePo4. While one battery arrived perfectly fine, and took a charge immediately, the other one arrived bricked and stayed that way. It registered 11.7 volts but would not accept a charge nor would it discharge. We followed all the guidance in the instructions for trying to revive the battery, but nothing worked. Using the Amazon website to send a message to Powermall about our troubles with the battery, they immediately issued a return label for the battery. We sent the battery back using the return label - they then asked if wanted a refund or a replacement. We chose replacement and had a new battery in no time at all. The replacement battery took a charge and is now installed with the other battery in our RV - functioning perfectly. At no extra cost at all, just a little bit of time and a trip to the FedEx center. This rating is for Powermall more than the battery. The batteries have been in use for less than a month, but they are working exactly as expected. If there are any updates, I will post them here. Advice for purchasing LiFePO4 batteries: Upon receiving the battery, use a LiFePO4 charger (not LA charger) to charge before use. Do not put into service for a least an hour after removing from charger. If planning parallel installation, balance the battery bank for 24 hrs prior to putting into service. Watch for swelling during the first day or so after putting into service. Follow the seller's instructions if you have a problem with the battery, it was a painless experience for us. Life is never perfect, accept this and move on.

I bought this as equivalent power lead acid are heavier and only last 2-3 years. I wanted to try lithium due to advertised number of cycles and 10 year warranty. Did not last one season before failure. Tried to force with high quality charger, battery would still not respond. Contacted Weize through their web site. 5 days of emails with them advising me to try tests I had already performed. When they said to test with a multimeter I responded I did not intend to buy equipment for more tests. When I stated I would be reviewing them on Amazon, they stopped requiring more information and I received a new battery 5 days later. I still like the light weight and hope this battery lasts longer. Update: Received replacement battery. Customer service worked hard to make situation work out. I live in the north so won't really know until spring if new battery lasts longer.
