It is very lightweight. It feels more like a toy than a tool. I used the plastic blades, but it broke within the first couple of minutes. I changed to the metal blade and it did do a good job cutting but you must be careful. It isn't like using the string weed wacker. It's more like a saw. I wouldn't recommend it. It's fine for my simple yard but having used better built brands this doesn't compare in workmanship or how well it works as a tool. ... show more

overall it's a good little trimmer but while it came with instructions on putting it together the karts don't actually fit right and the main part it needs to be removed to install the protective shield and flap but the battery holds a long charge and the trimmer does cut well

What should be simple with this light weight weed wacker is made near impossible by a single screw! In order to put the blade ( either plastic or metal) on this weed wacker you must first remove the metal plate that is held in place by a metal screw. They graciously tell you to watch a video on how to remove said screw but even when following the instructions exactly, it is near impossible to get off. After nearly chucking it in the trash, a hammer and forceps finally freed the offending piece of metal and allowed me to put the blade on. The plastic blades are pretty much useless and I broke the first one in less then 5 minutes using it on soft grass….so I had to remove the evil screw once again. Thankfully it came off a little easier the second time (I only contemplated taking a hammer to the whole thing once). I then put the metal blade on and this worked much better but I had to keep stopping to Make sure that the awful screw was tight as it tended to loosen during use. This of course is something I wanted to avoid and a sharp metal projectile is not something anyone wants. 2 stars because it works but not well… in retrospect I should have paid more for something of better quality. ... show more

The battery lasts WAY longer than I expected, still on 1st charge & not dead yet after 2 hrs use. I also didn't think the plastic blade would last for 10 feet, but it's still fine. I don't know where to get replacements, but I can 3d print them no problem.
