A friend recommended the Equinox 800 to us when my husband and I wanted to get into metal detecting. We have been so pleased with it. It was very easy to put together and learn to use. This package comes with everything you need from the case to the pinpoint finder. Directions on how to get started. Its a great package. The battery came charged on the metal detector, so we were able to use it as soon as we pulled it out of the package. We detected with it all day and did not have to charge it afterwards, the battery life hardley moved.     • My First Metal Detector - Not Disappointed
I skipped the usual lower-end metal detectors and jumped straight away to the Equinox 800. Can't say that was a bad decision, as the ease of use and quality of the detector really is worth it. This kit included the Pro Find 35, which has worked well to help pin point where the coins are in the dirt.

Great product minor problem with threads on plastic screw. Immediate response from company to send replacement. The battery with the pin pointer no good but I had plenty.

This is an awesome piece of equipment. Everything was packaged perfectly, and all stated items were received early. I recommend downloading the manual online, and watching some introductory YouTube videos, if you're not familiar with how to operate the device.
