Warranty Description: ‎Weber GENESIS gas grills are covered by a limited manufacturer warranty against defects in material & workmanship starting from the original date of purchase. The cookbox and lid assembly are warrantied for twelve (12) years against rust through/burn through (paint is warrantied for two (2) years, excluding fading or discoloration). Stainless steel burner tubes, cooking grates, flavorizer bars, and porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grates are warrantied for ten (10) years against rust through/burn through. All remaining parts are warrantied for five (5) years. Warranty excludes normal wear and is limited to the original purchaser. Labor is not included.

Replaced my 7 year old Weber S-330s propane model. Still works great and gave it to my son. Bought the Natural gas version for convenience and found that it heats much better. Hits 600 degrees halfway on the the dials in 50 degree weather. My propane model would never do that. It might hit 600 degrees in 90 degree weather on wide open, but would take forever to get there. Had it for an entire season now. Solid unit that went together more easily than the last Weber Genesis we had (12 years ago). I like the sear burner on this one (last one didn't have it), and I often only need to use two main burners for the two of us. Lights easily and cooks well for our needs. We don't do anything fancy (no smoking, etc.) so it works well for our basic BBQing needs. Fairly expensive, but you get what you pay for. This is well-designed and beautifully functional grill that I'm still getting familiar with. I'll leave the detailed hardware review to others. My main comments have to do with Amazon's free on-site assembly. The guys who took care of it for me arrived on time, were neat and professional in manner, and removed all packing materials when they left, leaving me with a fully assembled, ready-to-go grill. It's a job I could have done myself, but it was a pleasure to save the time, avoid the headache, and leave the job in experienced hands. One side note: I sprang for the Weber Crafted frame kit and flat-top griddle to go with the grill, and I'm happy I did. My old Weber finally gave out. Consumer Reports gave high ratings to some of the other brands, all of which are notably less expensive. I tried to save a few dollars by getting one of those. It came unusably dented with 500 parts and a 99 page assembly instruction manual. I fought the seller and eventually they gave me my money back. Bought this Weber. It works exactly as I expected, looks great, and was pretty easy to assemble. I don't know what the heck Consumer Reports is thinking on grills. I usually find them to be spot on but they could not have it more wrong on gas grills. ... show more

In twelve months the grill has completely rusted thru in leg areas. Weber sent me a new front panel but this will entail taking the entire grill apart to replace the part. I’m very disappointed in the quality of the grill. I never had this issue with past Weber grills so I guess they have reduced the quality of the product? Weber customer service was not too helpful other than sending a replacement piece. What about the remainder of the grill which is also starting to rust? Yes, I keep it covered. I will be looking at other brands in the future. This grill was over $1000 and my expectation was to get 6-8 years of use, not less than 2 years. Buyer beware. ... show more
