This unit replaced my 15 years plus Black Genesis 300 BBQ. I Like the stainless look and grates. Big improvement with quality and heat distribution. Extra shelf room on both sides of the unit. The expandible grate on top is a fantastic improvement. Shipped quickly and was packed securely. Nothing was damaged. This item is fair traded, and Weber sets the price of sale. My Amazon credit card put an extra 5% in my pocket. Nice!

Great grill. Loses heat faster than of expect upon opening but otherwise great, 2 seasons in and grates still easily clean and burners look brand new. Can your l rotisserie at 350 with all 3 burners on lowest setting so end up only running 2, can clean at over 700F with all burners full. Love it.

In twelve months the grill has completely rusted thru in leg areas. Weber sent me a new front panel but this will entail taking the entire grill apart to replace the part. I’m very disappointed in the quality of the grill. I never had this issue with past Weber grills so I guess they have reduced the quality of the product? Weber customer service was not too helpful other than sending a replacement piece. What about the remainder of the grill which is also starting to rust? Yes, I keep it covered. I will be looking at other brands in the future. This grill was over $1000 and my expectation was to get 6-8 years of use, not less than 2 years. Buyer beware.

Bought as a gift for my son since I have a 15 year old similar Weber that is still going strong. He was impressed with the overall quality after looking at more inexpensive grills and thought it was a good value.

We needed a new grill, and we decided to upgrade to a Weber. Assembly was so incredibly easy. We were up and running for dinner. Assembly took about 90 minutes.

Best grill ever. Lots of potential. Heat temperature is very controllable. Gets hot fast stays hot. Awesome Direct and indirect heat. I don’t know why this great grill would come without a grill rack handle. The racks are very heavy and I am having to use my Char Griller rack tool.

A royal pain to put together. 57 assembly steps. 13 boxes to unpack, not laid out sequentially. I located the hardware in Box C. The assembly booklet says it's supposed to take 2 hours for 2 people but for this one 75 year old it took about 7 hours. The online video says 30 minutes to an hour. No way. Look for YouTube videos that different people have posted, they can show you how to put it together if you're having trouble. I'd say if you're just using the assembly booklet, which has no written instructions, just drawings, you might have trouble understanding what it's trying to tell you. A couple of pieces were dented and it looks like they were dented at the factory and then boxed. The shipping carton was pristine, so they weren't damaged enroute. One door is bent and has trouble closing but if I push it hard enough it'll close. A couple of pieces didn't line up and wouldn't accept the screws needed. The bottom piece is supposed to be held in place by push-pin type fasteners and they didn't line up at all, but they weren't necessary. On the plus side it looks like a good grill, I had a Summit grill before this and this one has some improvements. It lights easily, has good casters for rolling it around, and it looks like the burners can be removed and replaced easily. On the Summit it was difficult. I like that the warming rack just hangs onto the back and can be stored down below if you don't need it. The grease tray is easy to access although it's small and will have to be checked frequently. This model doesn't have a side burner, but the Summit grill I had lasted 12 years and I never used the side burner once. Maybe if you live in a snowy place you'd use it to keep something warm but I live in Florida. After I accidentally ordered this when checking for the delivery date, and Amazon wouldn't cancel the order, I saw the same grill at Lowes and it was the same price but it included free assembly and delivery. Do yourself a big favor, buy it there. Home Depot has it too and recently they were throwing in a grill cover for free as well as assembling it and delivering it. This was such a pain in the neck to put together that I knocked off three stars.
