I replaced my old Weber grill with the same model because I liked it so much. To my pleasant surprise, Weber made some nice improvements, like: *can now change the battery on the electric igniter without removing the front panel *can easily replace the temperature gauge *gas control knobs lock into position instead of free spin FYI. I paid for delivery and assembly, and so glad I did. The delivery guys were awesome. They had the grill assembled much faster than I could have done, were friendly, hauled off the packaging, and gave me a quick demo of the features. ... show more

It is a pretty grill and it certainly is one of the top names. Not sure if you'll ever get to the highest temperature that I wanted to be at. Assembly wasn't that difficult but 4 hands would make it better than 2.. In the fact that I have a degree in math also helped..

Needed to replace another brand of grill that the parts were rusting out. Already replaced them once and didn't feel like doing it again. I started shopping for another grill. Having used (and currently own) several smaller Weber style charcoal and gas grills I decided that was the direction I wanted to go. Do not regret the purchase at all. Some of the other models come with extra "features", however they were of no interest to me. Give me a grill that heats evenly, is well made and has an analog thermometer in the hood. Grill heats to between 550-600 with the cooler weather. Will most likely go over 600 with warmer weather. Cooks great. If you are looking for a solid Weber without all the bells and whistles this is the one. It was delivered using Amazon scheduled delivery. First time using that service and I was impressed. Being semi rural we have issues getting our regular packages as they usually ship USPS. For this delivery I was able to select the day and a time range for delivery. The company keep me informed the entire time and the driver called on several occasions to keep me updated. It came when it was supposed to, damage free.
