Don't Waste Your Money
I went for years with the 300 Series Weber grill with remarkable results - a true gas grill that could cook with the best of them. Over time, the burner tubes wore out & needed replacement along with the igniter mechanism. The grill was used heavily & simply wore out. Regretfully, replacement parts became unavailable & we were forced to buy another gas grill. The newer E310 was our old grill's replacement, so we felt confident that it would do as well as our old 300 Series & with the improvements, better. We were wrong. From the initial lighting, it became obvious that this grill was in no way equal to the older model that it had replaced. Lower heat ranges even with a third burner tube, uneven heating within the grill body, controls that did not recognize On-Off points, knobs that came loose & eventually fell off & finally, a temperature dial that lost calibration. After a few ruined meals due to the grills erratic heat fluctuations we finally hung it up & have decided to junk the E310 & go with another grill - only this time it won't be any of the selections from Weber. My return window has elapsed, so this ones on me, but for those of you thinking of ordering a new gas grill, I would strongly suggest that you look beyond the E310.

First and best grill i have ever had
Im not mechanically inclined but put this together in about 2 hrs and the instructions were clear. I've had it 6 months from November into April and just did a good deep cleaning. Its easy to take apart for cleaning and i would surely recommend the weber sprays to get the grease off the grate and the inside. If you are cooking small veggies they will fall in between the grates such as brussel sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower so get one of the veggie cooking pads to prevent that. It has 3 burners and gets to 500 degrees in no time. Again i have to say the assembly wasnt hard and taking it apart to deep clean it is a breeze. An additional feature i really like is the gauge which tells you how much propane you have left (which is basically a scale based on how heavy the propane tank is, as it gets lighter the scale tells you to start getting ready to replace it). You wont know exactly how much gas you have left but its a good indicator and better than nothing. I bought the weber cover that goes with it and kept it outside all winter in Chicago and its still working like a champ and we are talking sub zero temps and alot of snow. I even grilled during the winter and had no problems. I have 3 kids and a wife and theres plenty of room for all the chicken, burgers and hot dogs we would need

Quality Grill, But a Heads Up
This is a great, quality, Weber three-burner grill. I’ve used it about four times a week since purchase with no problems. I knocked a star off for the way the propane tank sits under the grill. There is a large hole and if you just place the tank in there, the bottom rests on the ground (so, you can’t move the grill around). If you hang the tank from the place it’s designed to go, it has the added benefit of showing how much propane you have left (weighted gauge). The problem – especially for an old guy like me is that: (a) propane tanks are heavy (b) full propane tanks are even heavier (duh, I know), BUT … you have to be able to get the tank under the grill, THEN (only about three inches off the ground, and recessed into the grill cabinet) be able to lift it and get it to grab the hook. This is no easy feat. Know that going in. I’ve tried to show this as best as I could via the photos.

The first couple years were great, but the last 18 months have been difficult ...
I purchased this grill in April 2013 and am finally getting around to replacing it. I had been led to believe this grill would last 10 years, but it's not really built for it. As other commenters have noted, the igniter failed within 2 years and the grates don't seem to last very long (even if you aggressively maintain them). The interior coating of the lid started flaking off at about the 3 year mark. Now it just simply does not get hot enough, even after recalibrating the regulator. The first couple years were great, but the last 18 months have been difficult (it takes 15 minutes to cook a burger on high and I'm not quite sure what exactly is flaking into my food). I had much higher hopes given the initial cost and the Weber name.

Weber's warranty is nothing.
The fire damage to my Weber Spirit grill caused it to be totally unusable. I almost called the Fire Department but my wife passed me the extinguisher in time. The heat from this fire was so intense that the knobs actually melted off. The hood and the grill are the only portion of the unit that remained undamaged. This was our second time using the grill when this occurred. Before acquiring my current Weber Spirit 310, I did an in-depth analysis of the available grills, and I found Weber to be the best hands-down product in the marketplace. My family and I could have been burned severely. As a Weber customer I hope the company lives up to its high standards, and this does not happen to anyone else. As a Veteran I was hoping to use my Weber for our annual July 4th, barbeque. Unfortunately it won’t happen this year. Under the Weber Warranty I was offered $367.00, plus freight shipping and tax.for my Spirit grill II E-310 LP, after paying $ 499.00.

Love the grill, but not buying from Amazon
I would never again buy a grill from amazon. We got this grill, paid for assembly only for it not to heat up and work properly. We contacted Amazon that same week of set up and they didn’t do anything at all for us. They said we could exchange it but wouldn’t get set up and we had to take the current one (that we didn’t set up) apart on our own. We just returned it and went elsewhere to purchase this same grill. We love the grill and we love that we got it at a store that helped us in person make sure it worked.
