abunda_amazon_reviews Im not mechanically inclined but put this together in about 2 hrs and the instructions were clear. I've had it 6 months from November into April and just did a good deep cleaning. Its easy to take apart for cleaning and i would surely recommend the weber sprays to get the grease off the grate and the inside. If you are cooking small veggies they will fall in between the grates such as brussel sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower so get one of the veggie cooking pads to prevent that. It has 3 burners and gets to 500 degrees in no time. Again i have to say the assembly wasnt hard and taking it apart to deep clean it is a breeze. An additional feature i really like is the gauge which tells you how much propane you have left (which is basically a scale based on how heavy the propane tank is, as it gets lighter the scale tells you to start getting ready to replace it). You wont know exactly how much gas you have left but its a good indicator and better than nothing. I bought the weber cover that goes with it and kept it outside all winter in Chicago and its still working like a champ and we are talking sub zero temps and alot of snow. I even grilled during the winter and had no problems. Over time, the burner tubes wore out & needed replacement along with the igniter mechanism. The grill was used heavily & simply wore out. The newer E310 was our old grill's replacement, so we felt confident that it would do as well as our old 300 Series & with the improvements, better. We were wrong. Lower heat ranges even with a third burner tube, uneven heating within the grill body, controls that did not recognize On-Off points, knobs that came loose & eventually fell off & finally, a temperature dial that lost calibration. After a few ruined meals due to the grills erratic heat fluctuations we finally hung it up & have decided to junk the E310 & go with another grill - only this time it won't be any of the selections from Weber. I’ve used it about four times a week since purchase with no problems. I knocked a star off for the way the propane tank sits under the grill. There is a large hole and if you just place the tank in there, the bottom rests on the ground (so, you can’t move the grill around). If you hang the tank from the place it’s designed to go, it has the added benefit of showing how much propane you have left (weighted gauge). The problem – especially for an old guy like me is that: (a) propane tanks are heavy (b) full propane tanks are even heavier (duh, I know), BUT … you have to be able to get the tank under the grill, THEN (only about three inches off the ground, and recessed into the grill cabinet) be able to lift it and get it to grab the hook. This is no easy feat. Know that going in. I had been led to believe this grill would last 10 years, but it's not really built for it. As other commenters have noted, the igniter failed within 2 years and the grates don't seem to last very long (even if you aggressively maintain them). The interior coating of the lid started flaking off at about the 3 year mark. Now it just simply does not get hot enough, even after recalibrating the regulator. The first couple years were great, but the last 18 months have been difficult (it takes 15 minutes to cook a burger on high and I'm not quite sure what exactly is flaking into my food). Clear and easy to follow manual, all the screws/nuts/ends marked in individual packages for each step of assembly, all the holes aligning, everything fitting as it should...it was just a pleasure to put together. As far as the grill itself, it's great. It's debatable if the "flavorizer bars" actually do anything towards flavoring your food, but they do a fantastic job keeping drippings off the burners, a huge win in itself, let alone them radiating heat evenly. In fact, I found no cold spots anywhere on the cooking surface, a rarity in most grills I've used. Holds the heat under the lid quite well too, no big gaps to allow heat to escape. Also, love the removable drip tray! After something like 5 grills, this is my first grill with this handy feature. If I was to voice one gripe, it's the big gap at the back of the cabinet. The cabinet back panel is shorter than the side panels, with the gap big enough for a good-sized possum or coon to fit through, and then you also have the back of the drip pan exposed for animals to access. It makes no sense at all from a design standpoint, pretty much makes moot the point of an enclosed cabinet in the first place. I might just fab something out of sheet metal down the road to block that gap. So, one star off for that, otherwise super grill!;;June 1, 2018;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;very nice grill;;GeneV.
