This chicken run/coop is perfect. I have couple acres w chickens, ducks, and a couple dogs and mainly got this to help with training my indoor pup to go do her business outdoors in a designated area without the distraction of the larger outdoor dog. This is enough space and has a covered portion for our hot sunny days. After she is done with training and no longer needs to be kept separate the run will be used for our ducks and chickens. I liked that this came with a clear manual that was easy to follow and this structure was actually easy to assemble between my husband and I. It is sturdy and definitely worth the money especially with it being multipurpose.

Pen is sturdy but poles are only 1" diameter. Easy to assemble. Took longer than expected to apply hardware cloth, LOTS of zip ties. This covering is not very thick. We decided to add a 48" x 1" x 50' thicker hardware cloth all around the bottom. We bent out the bottom to have about 6" of cloth on the ground to help prevent critters digging under. The instructions to apply the wire cloth are NOT clear. Go up and over on both sides. zip tie to bottom poles and leave about 3 -4 inches below the bottom poles to ensure the gap to ground is covered. Repeat to cover remaining end. There is plenty of material to cover the front and back using one horizontal piece each. Our location is in North Texas and it can get really windy. We used 12" rebar stakes at each ground connector. Be sure to drive in at an angle to prevent it pulling out. I wish we had purchased longer stakes. The cage is very strong, very convenient assembly, firm and level also is quite high in appearance, personal feel very good, used to domestic poultry can, because I have some chicken bitten by dogs before died, so now buy the cage, put chicken inside, very safe, don't have to worry about chickens has been eaten by the stray dogs, now domestic poultry are quite reassuring, very good, recommend.

The product was great, we did have to buy better fencing for sides and bottom. Worked like expected good price. However last night it snowed heavy and the 3 long upper support beams all collapsed in multiple locations and the whole thing is now trash. Unless we can get more replacement beams??? If u live in areas prone to heavy snow I highly recommend a wood coop. It's not worth the money every year to need to replace the whole coop.

We got this to extend our chicken run. We’ve had so many hawks in our neighborhood and unfortunately an attack on one of our chickens. So while we are not at the house for hours at a time, sometimes we feel better having them in a space we know they will be fine. We have four smaller hens and they have plenty of space in this pen. My husband and I set this up pretty fast and it has been doing well so far. We’ve had it for a couple of months and the only thing I’ve noticed is the eyelets in the tarp have tore so we will either need to fix that or replace the tarp soon. I figured we would eventually since it’s not a very heavy duty tarp. For the price I couldn’t ask for better really.

Putting together the metal frame was pretty easy. The door hardware could have had better directions. We used double the zip ties but we were a little heavy handed. Like other reviews said, the tarp is very cheap and we will be replacing it in the future. It doesn't come with stakes but the "feet" have holes for them. So far so good!

The media could not be loaded. We were unexpectedly gifted several chickens this spring, and I’ve been searching for a bigger space for them for the last couple months, both on and off Amazon. Lumber was too expensive and I wouldn’t be able to move it around if I needed to. This worked out better than I imagined!! Everything went together so smoothly. My 8 yr old daughter was even able to help. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a large enclosure for pets or small livestock! My chickens are impressed😂
