Immediately put together by myself and took about 30-35 minutes. Manual super easy to understand. Longest part was filling the compartment with water. Used same night swooshing sound is soothing. It’s sturdy, I can lift and move without feeling strained, just overall a solid piece of equipment. My S4 monitor isn’t tight so it flips and slips around sure it’s something simple. Compared this product to Concept II. Chose this for comfort of seat, service record, and esthetics of wood. Proved right. Quiet, smooth operation. Gronk customer service was incomparable. Lots of delivery issues over the holidays with FedEx. Charged by Amazon for assembly when not all parts had been delivered but service man showed to assemble. Gronk immediately refunded money and stuck with us daily, sometimes several times a day until the second box was delivered. Helped when a part was defective and replaced it. I just got it today, but so far my impression is like many reviews: easy to assemble and looks n feels well crafted and sturdy, resistance is similar to actual rowing. Plus the water sound is soothing and rhythmic while not overly loud. The only minor problem was the hardware kit had an extra nut where a bolt should have been.. so missing a bolt, but I had one that works fine, just doesn't match the others. ... show more

The only problem we had with the assembly instructions were that we had to loosen the center screws to insert the foot pads, which wasn’t in the instructions. I can’t comment on the monitor because I haven’t used it. I use my Apple watch to keep track of my workout. After the first time of strapping in my feet, I decided to just leave a set of tennis shoes in the foot straps so I just slip my feet in them and don’t have to worry about adjusting the straps all the time. I’m glad I invested in this form of workout—and what a workout—when the weather outside is not pleasant. As others have commented, filling the water basin is not fun or easy. I don’t know why the manufacturers don’t put the fill hole out from underneath the top board?? While cheaper versions are out there, and I researched and contemplated for months on which product to buy, I’m glad I chose the WaterRower. ... show more

Though the delivery was delayed a few days due to issues with FedEx, Wally at Peak Home Fitness was prompt to inform me of the delay. Scheduled for delivery March 11-15, the first box arrived on 3/13 and the rails arrived 3/14. Boxes were in good shape, material was packed securely, and the assembly was simple due to the easy instructions. PHF provides you with everything you need to get up and rowing. Seat is comfortable, foot rests are easily adjusted, and the pulley system runs smoothly. It looks great! Came in great condition, only scratch on it is the one i gave it when assembling. It was easy to assemble but I had a dunce moment which ended up in me scratching it. Quality and design are fantastic. The machine stores easily in my apartment and looks like a piece of furniture when stored upright. I have been using it 4 times a week for a few months now for 30 minute workouts at a 20-25 rpm. The machine is extremely solid.
