  • Great flow!
Size: 9800GPH-620W
Bought the (2) PS-9800 and (1) pump the next size down for a pondless feature that has 3 waterfalls. I did my research and chose the Water ReBirth brand over others due to the water output levels and the price point..... I'm glad I did! These pumps really get the job done. Low noise output and does not interfere with the sound of water crashing over rocks into the water. I'm amazed at the value, the way they preform. I did have one of the 9800 output pumps stop working due to a broken propeller, I'm awaiting the replacement but very satisfied with customer service at this point. ... show more

  • Reliable, affordable, quiet, and powerful
Size: 4900GPH-250W
I have a 4900GPH model in a 100 gallon sump that filters a 400 gallon aquarium and this this has plenty of flow. It’s been running 2 years strong now. I would recommend one for any aquarium between 400 and 700 gallons.

  • Great Unit (For the Price Point)
Size: 7000GPH-320W
I purchased this to replace our a name brand pump that had been in service for over 7 years. It was a 3500GPH. This one was listed as 7000GPH. Works Great as advertised but at best its a 3500GPH pump. I hope to get several years from it so time will tell. I'd say divide the GPH by half if you want a realistic ideal of its actual output. We are not pushing the water more than about 6' up so its not a matter of pushing it too hard. Its simply powering a small "River" behind our house.. ... show more

  • Great pump for the price
Size: 9800GPH-620W
This pump was running perfectly everyday in my pond for a year until the plastic impeller blade broke, pretty sure it was turtle sabotage, BUT the excellent customer service put me in touch with a real live human very very fast and I was able to get a replacement part!!!!! 10stars !!

  • works great!
Size: 1700GPH-100W
Works Great! I have a medium sized (8 ft x 3ft x 3 ft) koi pond with plants and fish. I have this set up with an external filter on the intake and a hose to a waterfall on the output. It works great! With a few filter cleanings per year, it keeps the water crystal clear! I have had this pump for 3 years and it is still going strong! The outflow is strong enough to keep the water circulating all winter, with an unfrozen clear spot under the waterfall. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a small to medium sized koi pond. ... show more

  • update: Plastic propeller on shaft broke after a year
Size: 9800GPH-620W
update: contacted the manufacturer directly and they are sending a replacement part. the response was quick. Thus the change in rating. I liked this product at first. I have only used it a few hours a week for the last year in a water wall that I installed in my lobby. It started grumbling and I went and pulled it apart and found this plastic top of the shaft broken off. It’s the flimsiest part about the whole thing, but kind of sucks that after such little use, it’s already broken and out of warranty. Better to just get a cheaper motor and plan on replacing it. ... show more

  • Maintenance intensive! Not a good pond pump.
Size: 8600GPH-520W
I do NOT recommend this pump! It stopped working after about 2 months in operation. I followed the maintenance procedure outlined in the video and after about 2 hours of work, I did get it going again. It is a poor design, and the rotor collects/ gets full of fine sediment that locks the rotor/impeller. After being in operation, the rotor did not slide out easily like they show in the video either. I had to use a prybar to get it out, and it took about 20 minutes of working at it. It took quite a bit of work and a Scotch Bright pad to get the stator housing cleaned out so the rotor would spin free again. I could understand yearly maintenance on a pond pump, but having to spend 2 hours a month to keep this thing going is not what I have in mind for a good, reliable pond pump. I will be looking to replace this in the near future. ... show more
