This is my second pond pump, first one lasted about eight years so i'm hoping this one will last just as long. my pond is only about 150 gallons so for the water fall and the fountain it works super well and have never had any issues. I also attribute this to the pre filter that I have before the pump that then goes to the main filter, the pre filter picks up all the heavy debri and I clean that as needed, the main filter has never been cleaned and it flows like knew, that is why I brought up the prefilter, I think it saves the pump and the main filter for year of use... my two cents anyways... Other than that, I'd get this pump any day of the week just for it's duration...

I had a couple minor issues with one of these pumps. When I got in touch with the manufacture, they quickly honored their warranty! Other then those little mishaps they have been very good pumps. The circulation is what they claim. They have been running during each season now. From 40-100+ degrees and they have been reliable. Cleaning is relatively easy. I will buy another of their pumps if the setup is appropriate.

I wanted to upgrade from an Eheim 318 GPH pump for a cooling application. I tried three pumps - Vivosun 800, Sicci 715 and this. While the first two underperformed their rated GPH, this WaterRebirth actually pushes 1500-1600 GPH through a 120' generally level circuit to cool my greenhouse with swimming pool water through a heat exchanger. This pump is silent, smooth and powerful. I have to thank Amazon for their return policy, as not all vendors are as accurate as WaterRebirth. Thanks also to WaterRebirth for making a high quality product and representing it fairly! I now trust this brand.

I made a waist high rain barrel into a Fountain. It’s gone through a sump type pump a year. They have floats to prevent run drys. I tried wimpy pond pumps. They failed to lift water. My last sump pump consumed 5000watts(3/4hp)! This one runs -100 quiet watts. I installed a separate float. This little pump is dead quiet. Lift pressure to properly power the fountain. Now we will see how well it holds up this year. Congratulations. Your pump made an entire year without failure. Running in the sun baked rain barrel. Never had any issues with it all year. First time a pump is made it in five years. Yes, the rainwater is kept clean. I installed a float system in the barrel to turn it off and on. Finally, I love my little homemade fountain.
