I’ve been using this brand of lip balms for years now and it’s the only one I keep coming back to. I was using Lip Smacker Dr. Pepper since I was a teen. Then I discovered how toxic most of my beauty products were. Found this line while researching clean non-toxic beauty and have been loyal ever since. I love that it can go on practically sheer or you can layer it to add more and more color. It’s like having 3 lip colors in one. My favorite is the dragonfruit , I am olive complexion with hazel eyes. It looks so natural with one coat. Two coats looks like I just ate a piece of colored fruit . 3 coats looks like a pretty but natural made face. Please don’t ever discontinue these because I don’t know what I’d do ! ... show more

I starting learning that a lot of lipsticks, even vegan ones, have some ingredients that are really bad. The Honest lip balms get very good marks (check out ewg.org-- the Environment Working Group-- EWG Skin Deep). The Plum Drop is a good shade that does give some color-- not too dark but gives some sheer color (may be a dupe for Clinique's Black Honey). It is not very moisturizing, though and the lipstick case could be more attractive (it is rather plain). May try the Dragon Fruit shade in the spring/summer.
