This is my second of this design. The other one I broke from a great height. I was so sad because it is the perfect filter water pitcher! The water filter itself is so easy to seat into the water pitcher, no leaking around the edges of the filter! You get nice clean clear water, with no unpleasant taste, and several servings. I absolutely love it and am considering a second one so that I have warm and cold beverages/ingredients for cooking.

My Waterdrop water pitcher arrived on February 4th, 2024, and I began using it immediately! The filter is flawless. It does not dislodge and float as other water filtration pitchers do. It provides fresh, clean water that tastes so natural, and so many harmful chemicals are eliminated. Here is another great advantage to the Waterdrop water pitcher. I made the initial investment of appx. $18.00 for the pitcher and filter. I then purchased three additional filters at the cost of $32.00. When I did the math, here is what I came up with: Each filters equals 200 gallons of water. With four filters that equates to 800 gallons of water. The average store bought case of forty 16 oz. bottles (640 ounces) of 'filtered' water costs appx. $6.00. It would take 6400 store bought bottles, or 160 cases at the cost of $960.00, to equal the 800 gallons of water provided with the Waterdrop system. The 160 cases equals the amount of filtered water the four filters will provide. This represents a SAVINGS (!) of $910.00!

I was using a Multipure filter that connects to an external faucet for years, but the supplier in my country stopped carrying the replacement filters so I had to search for a simple and inexpensive replacement. I must say I was spoiled by the quality of Multipure filtered water. It was simply excellent, just as good or better than bottled water. Not so for the Waterdrop filter. Although the filter is definitely doing something, some sort of residual taste is left in the water, although it doesn't seem to affect coffee. My guess is that it is removing chlorine but not much else. If you want bottled water quality water, don't buy the Waterdrop. On the positive side, it is well designed, well built, user friendly, and it does improve the water quality.
