I bought this because ever since I had COVID last year tap water tastes awful to me. This took the chlorine taste right out. It It filters quickly and holds a lot of water. I like it better than bottled water. The only thing is that sometimes the filter will start going slow. You just have to take the filter out, shake it and put it back in. I guess the sand and side gets compacted and loosening it again helps ... show more

I have very hard water which leaves mineral deposits on everything. My house smells like vinegar because I have use it to remove the scaling all of the time. I need great water for cooking, drinking and my dog! Even my Brita super-duper filter did nothing to relieve the problem. I decided to skip the Zero which didn't say it removed calcium. This does a terrific job filtering tap water. For just me using it I don't have to refill all that often, and the refill process is easy. I like the spicket aspect so I can fill my glass right from the unit, unlike pitchers that you have to take out and put back. I only wish it were slimmer and a tad higher to take up less room in the fridge. But it does what it's supposed to. ... show more
