Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The manufacturer of our fridge no longer makes water filters so it was time to find a new water filter solution. Our local tap water tastes pretty terrible and I do not want to buy bottled water. The filtered water from this system has a great flow rate and tastes very neutral - exactly how water should taste. I did not evaluate the water before and after installation for particulates. I would classify my plumbing skills as intermediate and the installation of this filter took me about 90 minutes with 75% of that time spent fighting the ergonomics of being under the sink. The hardest part was pre-installation removing our old crusty soap dispenser (to use the existing hole in the counter). This filter comes with everything you need (including plumbing tape!) to install, minus a small wrench to loosen and retighten your existing and new cold water fittings. It includes the cold water adapter as well, no need to buy anything. I elected to not mount the filter with screws since we have electricity on one side of the cabinet and the dishwasher on the other. I instead used command strips and tacky (see pictures) to take most of the weight off of the filter itself and provide security in case something bumps into the filter. My only qualm with this filter system is that my box had no instructions! No QR codes, nothing. Fortunately, I found a great video on YouTube that walks through the entire installation process (search “water drop under sink filter installation” and you’ll find it). Will update this review if anything changes, but for now I’m a fan!

The filter seems to be of good quality, and came with all the hoses and attachments. Easy to install, and the rate of water flow is great and water tastes much better than regular tap water. The tap I connected to was non-standard and I could not figure out how to connect to it, so I contacted WaterdropDirect customer service, and not only did they quickly respond and resolve the problem, but also sent a free replacement filter. Would buy from them again

As others have stated, really great product. I was a bit skeptical myself but after flushing the filter out for a little over the recommended time(5min of flow) immediately noticed a difference in taste and smell of our water. Normally our city water smells and taste horrible and id have to buy 5-7 gallons a week(stay hydrated) and with the price increases of everything, I had to look for an alternative. Plus the fact that we are now more aware of micro plastics being prevalent just about everywhere and especially in bottles water. Long story short, highly recommend this to anyone and everyone! Saves you money, time, and especially if you have pets. Only problem I have is the T-fitting and they supplied Teflon tape- really cheap quality. It has started to seep out on one of the connections and I'm gonna have to take it apart to double check. Not a big deal since it's a very easy install... but I hope every buyer practice due diligence and check on it from time to time.

I purchased this filter due to my city not having good water. Install was pretty straightforward. It came with the inlet and outlet hoses. I just adapted it to fit my fridge for cold water and pure ice.
