Wanted to replace the otherwise useless stock FJ rack and went with the Warrior product. Having heard great reviews about their quality it seemed like a natural choice. Long story short, the front two brackets were either mis-manufactured or for another application. They didn’t fit....not even close. If I hadn’t of been in a time crunch and trying to beat the weather that was fast deteriorating I would have sent the brackets back. So I took the existing brackets and “remanufactured” them to fit the FJ. Ultimately, the installation worked out and, aside from that one issue, I’m quite pleased. The quality is great and I have no doubt the rack will withstand the rigors of the upcoming Alaska adventure. ... show more

    • Stable and Strong Roof Rack. Fits 2014 FJ Cruiser OEM mounting locations.
Little pricy for a bench made rack, but with cleanup of shipping and storage damage (sandpaper and spray paint) all and all a good rack. Fits easy with two people (two to get the assembly to the roof) and exact.

    • Awesome rack for the price!
Nice build quality. Feels very sturdy even with two grown adults walking on top of it. The welds are very impressive. Some small pieces of metal inside the round tubing rolls around when driving but it's not a big deal to me. Definitely buy the air dam. Without it the rack is very loud but it's silent with the air dam installed. Take your time uninstalling the OEM rack, loosen two boltsbat a time with the T40 torx. If you try and take one bolt out without loosening the other bolt you will break the back welded nuts. Enjoy! ... show more

With two people, the installation was easy and straightforward. The rack is perhaps the strongest available for the FJ Cruiser, and being a platform design instead of a basket-style, it is also among the most versatile. Placing and removing items from the top of this rack is fast and convenient. Mounting options for lights, storage, and gear are limitless.     • Huge improvement over the factory rack
This rack does everything we need. It is a vast improvement over the factory rack, giving you more roof top storage options as well as more space. We're finally able to fit both of our kayaks, side by side. We've also been able to use a roof top tent. You can't do that with a factory rack. The seller was also great. When it was found that there was a missing mount they went above and beyond to ensure that we had a replacement overnighted to us so that we could make our camping trip. ... show more

I am very, very happy with this purchase. It is worth every penny. Not only does it look amazing, it feels quite durable and is incredibly easy to install and remove. It is also flat, which adds to versatility and lessens the overall height with the roof rack. Could not speak more highly of this product. Not installed yet however, Amazon has the best price with free shipping to the lower 48 by far. This price beats other vendors by over $150 when the shipping is factored in. I had to deal with two different shipping carriers and a couple different phone calls, but it arrived in perfect shape with no problems. Warrior makes a really nice product and stands by them too. I can't wait to get this installed on my FJ as the platform for my rooftop tent and awning. It should be a great setup! All American made too! ... show more

    • I am very happy with this roof rack
I am very happy with this roof rack. Install was very easy and I was able to do it without the help of 2 more hands. The only thing I could complain about would be the wind noise. I have now purchased the air-dam for it and am awaiting its arrival and hoping it makes it a lot quieter. Update: Put the Airdam on and it made the wind noise slightly quiter. Im hoping that when I install this led light bar it helps a little more. ... show more
