  • Edgeless 16 mm design – High amount of grit – Impressive graphical design
Warping Point is known for its leading edge paddle designs. Their Rainbow paddle combines honeycomb core, foam, and a comfortable handle to produce a paddle for those in the low end of the DUPR scale. This paddle has eye-catching graphics, meaningful surface grit and weighs in at 8.1 oz. The target audience should ignore the wisdom that this paddle should not be used by those who cannot execute a 3rd shot drop. It’s all about the fun of it. Paddles in 2025 are all carbon fiber and are seeing foam used to seal some of the polypropylene honeycomb. All this to allow a more consistent shot with a little bit of the “trampoline effect.” The Rainbow has this. But it has surface grit that is out of this world for a low DUPR paddle. Other paddle manufacturers control this grit to a precise level during the manufacturing process. They’re like a Subway sandwich; the roast beef is portion controlled down to the gram. Warping point slobbers on the grit. They are like a hot pastrami sandwich from Katz’s Deli in NYC. You get more than you expect. The Rainbow has an average sized elongated head. The grip feels good in my hand and the paddle comes with overgrip to enhance the tackiness. The paddle plays like all the component parts, carbon fiber, honeycomb, foam and surface finish are connected strongly. Hits are the sweet spot are rewarded with a tactile sense that you have achieved something good. Off hits, which are where most low DUPR players live, get over the net somehow. If your playing style focuses on spin, the Rainbow will reward you with balls that dances as you want them to. The graphical design of the Rainbow uses neon colors rather than the traditional rainbow colors. It is pleasing to the eye. So are the edge graphics, which I hope survive playing with the paddle. The outer box also has interesting graphics. The box itself is solid and together with the graphics and paddle, I can see this product as giftable. The Rainbow paddle by Warping Point delivers on the promise of a superior paddle for the low DUPR players. If I think about it, I can’t see how this paddle cannot be for the better player. • Expensive bat, more for a pro player than an occasional pick up gamer
This pickleball bat from Warping Point looks really cool, and plays well too. I'm no expert on bats but it felt easy to hold and I didn't have any issues with it. The bright neon design is fun and flashy, and it comes nicely packaged with extra grip tape. The face has some texture that helps grab the ball, giving you a bit of spin. It feels solid in the hand, and pretty lightweight and not too heavy, The grip is comfortable with just enough cushion to stay steady even when your hands get sweaty. I like the edgeless design, it did come with some clear tape and I'm assuming that goes around the edge to protect the bat but I'm not too sure as there were no instructions that came with it explaining what all was in the box. Which would have been nice. All in all, the bat works as intended but for 119.99 I'm not sure I see the value in it compared to other bats I own. I feel this is aimed more at the professional player rather than an occasional player such as myself. ... show more

  • Nice, well-balanced pickleball paddle
This is a very nice pickleball paddle. It has a great grip, is lightweight yet durable, and feels well-balanced and easy to swing. This has a nice look to it as well. I like it a lot and plan to put it to good use. I highly recommend it!

  • Playing with this high performance pickleball paddle makes me wish that I was a better athlete!
The styling design is striking with the neon accents on the black background, and it is lightweight and well-balanced, quality construction. The feel of the paddle provides confidence during play that the ball will go where I want it to. The fit of the handle works well with my hand. When hitting a hard shot, I do enjoy the extra spring action that this paddle puts into the ball. Excellent value for this paddle! Performance without breaking the bank! ... show more

  • Looks sleek and performs
The Warping Point Rainbow Pickleball Paddle is one of the most impressive paddles I have tried in this price range. The T700 raw carbon fiber face gives it an excellent feel on contact and allows you to generate incredible spin with very little effort. The 16mm honeycomb core provides a solid and predictable response, which is ideal for a control player like me who wants precision at the kitchen line and consistent touch for resets and dinks. The edgeless design gives the paddle a clean and modern look and offers a generous sweet spot that rewards good mechanics. What really stood out to me was how well balanced this paddle feels in hand. It has just enough weight to drive the ball with confidence but stays light and maneuverable during fast hands battles. As someone who values control over sheer power, I appreciate how it allows me to guide the ball exactly where I want it while still giving me enough pop to put points away when I choose. The grip is very comfortable and stays secure even during long matches. The rainbow finish is also a nice touch and gets plenty of compliments on the court. Overall, this is an outstanding choice for players in the 3.5 to 4.0 range who play a thoughtful, placement-based game. It performs like paddles that cost much more and is a true confidence booster for players who prioritize precision and spin. I recommend for its combination of control, design, and value. ... show more

  • Great Pickleball Paddle
The Warping Point Rainbow Pickleball Paddle delivers an impressive mix of performance and personality. Its sleek, edgeless design and vivid rainbow finish make it stand out on the court, while the 16 mm honeycomb core and T700 raw carbon fiber surface provide a strong balance of control and spin. The texture gives just enough grip on the ball to add precision to serves and dinks, making it a great option for players who value touch as much as power. It feels well-constructed in hand and has a comfortable grip that doesn’t slip, even during long matches. On the court, the paddle performs reliably with a smooth, consistent response across the entire face. The edgeless build helps enlarge the sweet spot and keeps play fluid, especially when volleying or defending at the net. It’s lightweight without feeling flimsy and offers a professional look that matches its performance. While advanced players chasing maximum pop might prefer a heavier option, this paddle is perfect for intermediate players who want control, comfort, and eye-catching style in one affordable package. ... show more

  • Heavy, no power, tiny sweetspot... from a 4.5+ player
This paddle has a lot of downsides and as a 4.5+ advanced player, read carefully: - Top heavy and unwieldy. The balance point on this paddle is off and especially when you put the clear edge guard (that it comes with), it it even more so. If you are a beginner, this will feel tough to manage.. and even for advanced players, this paddle's weighting is off and requires fine tuning with lead tape. - The sweet spot is tiny. This is usually the case with edgeless paddles, but it was definitely the case for this one. The edge guard that it comes with is nice (and necessary to expand the sweet spot), but it adds a lot of extra weight... - I added extra lead weight on the edges of the paddle (see pics). It helped widen the sweet spot at the expense of being heavier. - Being so head heavy, I expected this thing to have a good amount of power... well, it doesn't. This is much more of a control paddle (which even that it's bad at) if anything - There is very little feel coming off the paddle face (low dwell time). The paddle just pops off, and feels like a wooden plank. Really. It doesn't feel good hitting with this thing whatsoever. - The spin is okay due to the high grit, but because of the low feel, you don't really take advantage of it as much as you can. And also, it's hard to whip this paddle for a top spin volley when it's so top heavy - The design is nice. Love the quality of the print and it looks pretty. - The added extras that it comes with is nice. The overgrip is good quality and the clear edgeguard is a nice touch. I like that it's clear and doesn't take away from the aesthetics of the paddle. If you are a beginner, stay away from this paddle. If you are an intermediate level player, 120 for this guy is WAY too expensive. I cannot recommend this by any means. Go buy yourself a FRIDAY paddle for a fraction of the price. ... show more

  • Fun graphics will make you stand out on the court
I'm a pickleball coach always on the look out for reasonably priced paddles to recommend to students. This paddle has a responsive face for a fair amount of pop. At 16mm thick, it is more of a control paddle than a power paddle. It felt good up at the no volley zone with dinks and volleys. I didn't find it to be "explosive" as stated in the listing. Remember, it is a thick paddle so by design will be more control focused than power focused. The graphics are really cool. Very bright with the rainbow effect. Players at my club asked about it since they noticed I was playing with something new. Graphics aside, for the price, it is decent. With that said, I play with an America made paddle of similar design that costs only $10 more that I find to be a much better paddle. ... show more
