The size is large enough that I can see it from across the room, I use the low luminous setting as I want to easily see what time it is in the night, but not so bright as to interfere with sleep. Sturdy, good quality. Great customer service.

It looks good. It's great in the daytime! At night, it's probably perfect if you want it for a bedroom in the complete darkness, but we wanted to be able to see it at night in the kitchen from the couch in the living room. It's much too dim for that. They should make the brightness adjustable. I also don't like having to put two anchor nails into the wall. It's very difficult to get something level that way. We've had it for about a week now and it has kept the time perfectly so far. It is not satellite-controlled like our last one was, so we'll have to change it when we go from DST to Standard time and back. But for the price, it's definitely worth it. ... show more

It's just the right size and brightness. My vision impaired butt couldn't see the clock with my glasses off at night, so I got this larger clock. It's just the right size for me to see it from across the room at night. The backlight isn't overly bright where it will annoy you at night, but it is enough to make sure you can see it. I love that it's battery operated so that I don't have to have a cord running down my wall to the plug.
