  • How to Get in Steps In extreme heat or cold!
As a 41-year fitness professional, I purchased this as a gift during winter for my son and his wife who works and is pregnant making it hard to get in steps. They just put it in their living room she gets in steps before or after work while they watch tv or chat. Doesn't take up a lot of space. I highly recommend them for anyone who struggles to get in steps or works doing tasks like phone calls or zooms where they can walk during them! At Flipping 50 we highly recommend them ! ... show more

  • Perfect to get those steps in if you have the room
I work from home, so I barely get 2,000 steps a day on average. Well, no more! I bought this on friend's recommendation, and it seems to be the perfect way to get in more steps and assist in weight loss. Some minor problems hold it back from being a perfect 5 stars for me, which I will get into as well. The pad comes preassembled and pretty easy to set up. You just take it out, and place it where you want to use it. It unfolds pretty easily, but you need a little force to get the backend to fully snap into place. The design is fairly slim, even when folded, so I can safely tuck it away under our couch when I'm not using it. The built in roller wheels help a lot with sliding it in and out from under the couch. To get the pad working, you have to plug in a power cord. The hole for the plug is hidden under a magnetic flap on the front of the device. This is my first major complaint. All it gives you to open the flap is a small notch/hole cut at the top of the flap. I cannot fit a finger in there to pry it open, and the magnet holds it fairly well, so I need to wedge in a tool to pry the flap open so I can plug it in. I wish it had a handle or a larger finger sized hole to open this up. It's very annoying. The pad comes with a remote control and a battery, but it was not clear to me how to insert the coin battery properly in any of the directions. There is a small pin that you must leave on top of the battery by sliding the coin battery under it to make sure both sides are in contact correctly to provide power. I thought this little pin was a tension spring to keep the battery in place so when I closed up the remote, the remote got no power. I eventually figured it out after a couple hours, but it was frustrating. The pad works best using it's smartphone app as a remote and it connects via bluetooth. The app has handy features like setting a distance you want to walk, tracking stats like steps or distance among many other things. So far it is working well and always pairs my phone to the machine as soon as my pad is switched on. I do have to pair it with a "reconnect" button in the app each time though, which is a minor thing. Beware if you use a wrist based step counter, they are not accurate at all counting the true number of steps. Mine is a pixel 3 watch and it usually says about 1/3 of the actual steps I take. The pad itself will record your steps perfectly in all my testing and report the correct number on the app, so make sure you reference the app or on pad display for real step count. My watch was off by thousands of steps. I have used the walking pad to easily burn off an extra 1000 calories per week just walking 2 miles per work day on it (under my standing desk). I walk at 1.9 mph. This had made losing weight very easy in conjunction with my weight lifting cut diet. I typically lose around 1 lb a week with the combination of diet, walking pad and weight lifting. ... show more

  • Best portable walking pad.
This was the best exercise product I have ever purchased. I cannot fit a treadmill in my own so this was a great alternative and very affordable. I can now listen to podcasts, talk on the phone and even watch television while I get my steps in. It is perfect for days when the weather is too rainy, dark or cold to walk. I love it! Plus it is easy to stow and move about. ... show more

  • Update: Product stopped working after 6 weeks
Update: sent the product back to KingSmith, it was delivered and I'm still waiting on my refund. The first refund they issued had an error in the system and it didn't go through. They are processing my refund again. Fingers crossed it goes through the second time. In my experience, I would not recommend this product. I liked the ability to fold and store the treadmill. It worked well while it was functioning. After 6 weeks, I got an error code. Reached out to King Smith Walking Pad for product support. After a couple of phone calls and emails, I got a prepaid label to ship the Walking Pad back. I was told by support that "We'll arrange the refund once the returned parcel is delivered to the return center, it usually takes 2-6 days after the collection." ... show more

  • Perfect size for very small spaces
I really wanted a walking pad for those days that I have so many back to back meetings that I can't get my steps in. Problem was, I work from our bedroom so I have a kids standing desk (half the size). A lot of these pads/treadmills are huge and wouldn't fit the narrow space between the legs of the desk. So when I found this one that actually fits, I was extremely happy. It also works great, you can use it with the remote or the app. It connects to Apple health so you can count the steps, it's not loud, and best part is you just fold it and push it towards wall when not in use and barely notice it's there. Glad I finally found the right one after tons of research. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it. ... show more

  • Well-made, quiet, light, easy to use, and very moveable
This is an all-around excellent under-the-desk treadmill. It runs very smoothly and is remarkably quiet, even at the highest speed. I'm a writer and a professor and find that I can work on my laptop pretty easily at .5-1 mile/hr, and I can do other less-intensive work while walking at 1.5 or even 2 miles/hr. I'm pleasantly surprised how effortless it is to move into that zone of focus where you almost forget that you're walking on a treadmill. I've been using it every day for a week and find that I have no problem walking for an hour or more and getting 4-5,000 steps in during my writing session, so I'm pretty sure I can double that with ease if I wanted to. The treadmill itself is solid and well built but also very light and a cinch to fold and move around for storage under my desk. All in all so far, this has been a great product and exactly what I needed. ... show more

  • Love using this for work!
This has been a game changer for increasing my fitness and activity level when using my standing desk at home for work. I am able to get in a couple of miles easily in an afternoon. I like the remote control capability; I use this much more than the app on my phone. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I wish there was a way to adjust the speed settings more. I usually walk at 1.5 mph. I’d like to do a 1.75 mph setting but this option isn’t available, only 2.0 mph and other increments of 0.5 mph up or down. This is the only adjustment I would recommend be changes- otherwise this treadmill is fantastic! ... show more
