This is a very nice treadmill. It's compact and easy to move around. It has a good quality running belt and is very sturdy. However, my product was damaged when it arrived. The packaging was very well done and no damage was found on the box it came in but somehow the lower left cover was cracked and broken. It must have somehow been broken before being packaged. Even with the cover broken, the treadmill works just fine. It's just cosmetic but it would have been nice to not have anything broken at all because this was not one of those cheap under desk treadmills. It's actually a good quality one. I do recommend it to buyers, just hope it doesn't arrive broken anywhere. Update 7/8/26: The new part arrived. I got it put on in less than a minute. Now the treadmill looks brand new. Customer service was great, they were very responsive and acted quick to get me a replacement part. With or without the replacement park, the treadmill worked just fine so I appreciate that they responded so fast. I uploaded the new pictures with the replacement part put on for reference. Thank you!

Does your walking pad/treadmill manufacturer stand behind its product? Vitalwalk does. What I like about the product: it has a wide walking surface, feels structurally sound, and is clearly a higher-quality treadmill. It is worth the extra price, especially when the company backs its product. That is where the second part of my review comes in. I ran into a mechanical issue, and Vitalwalk’s post-sales support team was responsive, highly engaged, and focused on resolving it. They were professional and customer-focused throughout the process. That is the winning combination: a great product backed by a great company.

It was great, and sturdy. Be aware that it is XL in size so that you make sure you consider the size of the are to be put in. It is a handle free walking pad so it’s best for when you’re in a standing desk.

Vital Walk is a Great Walking Pad

I love the Vital Walk walking pad. It’s super easy to set up. The only issue I had was the plastic wrap in packaging got around one of the wheels in the back and it took some time to remove it. But it’s a great treadmill. And who needs the bar in front of you to hold on to. In fact it’s more natural to walk without holding on to anything. I watch tv while using it anyway. I like the fact that the motor is underneath the walking pad. This way you don’t step on the motor cover like with most other treadmills. The remote works great. The speed starts at 0.6 mph and with the remote goes up by 0.2 mph increments very fast. I’m going 1.8 mph now, and that is fine for me right now. And I don’t walk long. Right now it’s six minutes a day. I hope to increase over time in speed and speed time. My Vital Walk is already at an incline, but I think there are levelers in the back which I can probably use to set it flat. But I like the slight incline as it gives you a harder workout. So I haven’t needed to use the auto incline feature just yet. But I can feel I’m getting stronger. This product is great. And you can’t get a better treadmill that is more durable and comfortable to use. I love it.

A massive upgrade over nearly all other pads on the market.

After several years of 8-10 hours of walking a week my $99 walking pad finally gave up. I have had this model on my mind for some time as an upgrade. That said, I did do two weeks of researching other models and waiting for the price here to drop back to a level I know it reaches often, so I am up to date with what’s available. The biggest thing that gave me pause with the Apollo 11 Max is the height of it. This is twice the height of other models. While the reason is nice, allowing there to be no housing directly in front of the belt, it does cause a major problem when matching to the height of my adjustable desk. My model reaches a height of 48" including the top. At 6'2" this height was basically just right when walking on my older pad that had a belt height of 3". Moving to this pad which has an actual belt height of just over 6" was never going to work for me. I ended up having to purchase (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CM3GVDKH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) 4" leg extenders for my adjustable desk frame. I did this first as I wasn't confident, they would end up being stable enough. AS it turns out, when added to my desk they end of being basically just as stable as without them. These risers end up only adding about 3.5" of height but considering the 3" height difference of the pads it gave me an extra .5" in the end. Now the good. The unit did take about a week to arrive. Once received the box was in good shape. It was as simple as opening the box, removing the unit, Installing the power cord and batteries into the remote and we were in business. After a few weeks of not having a pad, I was very ready to get back to it. Let me tell you, the belt size of this unit is night and day from other pads. MY previous pad was 14.75x38 actual walking area. While I never had much of a problem with that having the over 3extra inches of width here is very noticeable. Several times in an hour or two when walking on my older pad I would hit the sides, this is now reduced to not a single time. The extra length simply makes it easier to set up and not have to worry about depth in relation to my desk as well as allowing me to always take a full stride. The adjustable incline is also a nice feature, more on that later. I would say the noise of when using the pad is on par with or slightly better than my old unit, I don’t think you are really going to get any better. The remote is ok. I appreciate that when pausing and resuming walks the pad automatically restarts to your previous speed. My old unit had to be reset and given the fact it made a loud beep at each speed increment that was very annoying. Another plus to this unit it the fact it had a mute button along with the fact it doesn’t constantly beep at each speed. A little thing like that makes a world of difference when the alternative was a constant small annoyance every morning, first thing at that. I also really like having the app available. Steps seem to be very accurate as you may know using an apple watch on a walking pad rarely gives you an accurate measure of what you have done, especially if you are on a computer a lot like me. Being able to look down at my watch and get a quick, accurate picture of where I am at is another nice aspect. I would typically try to leave my phone in my pocket on my old pad to try and help pick up the steps better which could be annoying when I also needed to be using that for other tasks. The “bad”. There truly isn’t anything I have a serious problem with when it comes to this pad. That said, the pad is significantly more expensive than other options and I think needs to be measured by its value to that. To start I will address one of the bigger marketing claims and that is the so called “20%” incline. Notice it doesn’t say 20 degrees. I measured and what you get is 6 degrees of incline. To be fair this is absolutely more than enough, more than I will probably ever use. The incline does work nice and smooth. What you really have is 20 levels of incline which may be what they are referring too. 20% honestly makes no sense. 20% of what? Its roughly 13% of 45 degrees half that of 90. I really don’t know what it could be 20% of. Seems like a silly marketing trick on what is a higher end pad. I also noticed right away at start up the pad makes a “thumping” sound. This happens about twice for every rotation of the belt. It almost sounds like a heartbeat. It isn’t something I can notice once I’m walking on the pad so haven’t looked at it much. I don’t think it will be a problem if it doesn’t get worse. It should also be noted the pad does not sit level with the back adjustable feet all the way in. Luckly they are adjustable and I was able to make it flat (as in no incline) easily with a level. The biggest problem here is there is no locking nut on the feet. So, if you do this you will either constantly move them when moving the pad or will need to add some nuts. I had some on hand, I believe they are M8x1.25, so that was an easy problem to fix but for the price I really think that is something that should be included. The remote is nice and quick but I would also prefer if it had a couple preset speeds on buttons to quickly hit. I saw this on other models and seemed nice. The led lights along the side are a nice accent but they cannot be controlled. This isn’t a big problem, but I walk at about 3.8 mph and so it’s always just yellow. Would prefer to just set to blue or something. Just seems silly to include but not allow control. The phone and watch apps are a huge upgrade for me, but their implementation is lacking. Firstly, you do have to manually open the app and quick connect to the pad. It would be nice to see this performed as an automatic connection through either Bluetooth or wifi. My biggest wish though is that I could just use my watch to start a session. Right now, you must connect through your phone app. Then you can control the pad through the remote, phone or watch. The watch app also does not show steps in the interface which I find to be a weird thing to leave out. Conclusion I am extremely please with this pad. In the end it gave me a headache searching through the walking pad options on Amazon. There is so much marketing nonsense and misleading info on these listings it takes forever to weed through to what you are getting. It’s also extremely weird to me this is basically the only option that provides an 18” wide belt. Not only that but I found many options that had an even shorter length than my old pad. While the increase height can be a problem it was easily solved for me. I am knocking off a star for what I believe are things where the price increase and features diverge I also would 100% recommend this pad. The only thing left is to see how it holds up. Given my $99 pad lasted about 2 years of very hard use I would expect this pad to last at least 5-10 years but only time will tell. Given the fact the motor is only warrantied for 2 years this is going to be a big concern for me. Will update if this ever becomes a problem so hopefully won’t have to do that until we are well out of this decade.

I decided to buy the treadmill for the house since I couldn't constantly go out to the gym, and it was an excellent decision, it arrived in good quality and it comes just for you to connect it and ready to use. Maybe I have bad luck, two of them bad so far.

First one started making loud squeaking noises after a few days of using it. Replacement came and this one’s motor is making loud scratching noises so returning this one now. I like the design and how easy it is to move around but I keep getting bad units so time to move on because the return process isn’t exactly fun with Amazon and products like this. So amazing denied the refund on a 2nd treadmill and now I gotta wait on hold and talk to people who can barely speak English. Do not buy this thing.
