Comes ready to go out of the box. You can use the treadmill with the bar up or down. If down, there is a remote that you use to control it. I like the digital face that tells you how long you have been on it, distance, calories burned and speed. It is foldable and has rollers to be able to move it around. Easy to use. First one I ordered the legs weren’t welded completely, had gaps in the weld beads. I ended up and did a return with replacement. Received the new one and the welds around the legs were better than the other one. I started walking on it and everything seemed to be going well then it started making a creaking noise with every step I took then a plastic piece and a screw fell out from where the motor is located. I reached out to company and their customer service is great. They asked detailed questions and wanted to make it right. They talked to the factory to see if it was anything that would affect the performance and responded that it wouldn’t affect anything. They also said that they would discuss the welding issues with the factory. They ended up giving me a $50 reimbursement for my troubles. They were very responsive. The creaking noise stopped after the plastic piece and screw fell out. I’ve been using it and it works great so far. I like that’s it smaller and not like the big massive treadmills. I am concerned, because of the issues stated above, about the quality and any long term problems that might arise with it. There is only a 90 day warranty on everything besides the frame, which has a 1 year warranty. I was going between getting this one and another one and I ended up choosing this one due to it having an option to incline. The other one had a 1 year warranty on everything. I’m hoping if anything does happen, with their customer service being exceptional, that they would make it right since I started out having problems from the beginning.

The treadmill has an occasional hesitation when using it. If you step on the seam of the tread it hesitates for a second. It's enough to throw off your momentum when walking. It would be worse when running possibly causing injury.

Exactly what I was worried would happen, happened. Device was dead upon arrival. It never turned on, or worked. Yes, I did trouble shoot with Amazon on the phone. Further, upon opening the box, I could also tell by looking at the walking pad that it was used and damaged. The remote was also missing from the box. I’m getting a replacement tomorrow and they gave me a $25 credit (not enough, considering I had to spend my Sunday re packing this heavy, broken object just to return to them, part of me thinks they’ll just send it to someone else so buyer beware. I do not have high hopes for this company so I won’t be updating this review until my replacement manages to “stay alive” for a full year. I understand this is not some super luxury item, but it’s still $300, quality control must be absolutely abysmal for this to happen

Doctors say: walk. Having a treadmill direct in my house makes it so easy. I am no athlete and this keeps me healthy, walking 10-15 min once or few times a day. Low noise, very easy to handle. After I use it, I lower the handrail and the treadmill almost disappear from the room (it's a great option). It is also easy to move and the size is actually perfect, not too bulky. My husband also uses it. So, per experience, it fits very well a 5'4" size woman and a 6 foot 170 pounds man.
