This is my first 3d printer and I love it. Out of the box with just a little tweaking it makes great prints. Set up isn't that bad, watch a lot of videos and you'll get it. Bed wobble is an issue that isn't well explained. If yours does, you can adjust the screws under the bed to make the bed tighter against the rails. Getting it usable isn't hard, getting it perfect may take more tweaking. Watch videos on bed leveling, it's important to understand it before you get going. Doing even basic bed leveling will get you a decent print. Make sure you spend the time to level and get it right or you will end up scarring your bed. That doesn't wreck the machine, it's just learning pains. Also, keep paper under your nozle when ever you move it for bed leveling, again, don't scar the bed. If you want to add an auto bed leveler, you can, and it's not that hard. Once you are printing and have a feel for it, you can work on the next steps. Go print some replacement parts for the filament feeder/retractor. They have the potential to break over time in other machines, so you might as well be prepared. Add some mods that make the machine work better for you. Print calibration objects and learn where you need to make changes to take this printer from entry level to pro level. The only print issue I've had is my z access doesn't print quite to scale, it's a little off. This isn't an issue for most prints, but I'm going to take some time to tune it. It might be a stepper calibration, it might be under extruded filament. I might just be using the wrong temp. Whatever it is, it's fixable with calibration. Cooling is always an issue on any 3d printer. A little more on the nozzle would help and I'll mod on an extra fan to address it. This is typical on an entry level printer, and it's one of the mods you'll do to go from entry to pro. Now that I've started with this machine, I'm going to build a bigger more advanced printer that uses a lot of this design. I can thank Voxelabs for inspiring me to do it! And I'll use this printer to make many of the parts for it. If you're looking to get started in 3d printing, this is a great and affordable choice.

I was a little timid at first to buy a printer that was so cheap and not as established as say the ender 3. But it has been amazing. I'm new to 3d printing but it has been simple to use and once it's set up correctly makes great prints. I printed out some threaded parts and they work great. The assembly instructions were a little confusing at first. Be sure to really pay attention to the illustrations to know if you are looking at front or back of the machine as it gives no clear indication. MAKE SURE TO LOWER THE BED BEFORE SETTING IT TO AUTO HOME. I made that mistake and it made a little scratch in the front left corner. Some other things I like about it more then the ender 3 is tensioning the belts. On the ender three there is alot of room for error and requires tools and on the voxelab it had knobs to turn by hand. Great product highly recommended.

When I first purchased this printer, I was having a ton of issues with it - heat creep, some files not printing at all, constantly freezing. I was in constant communication with after-sales support and they were very unhelpful. I initially wrote a very negative review highlighting my experiences and the Amazon seller reached out to me to help. They sent me a brand new printer since my first one was a complete dud. The new printer is working flawlessly! I have not had any issues with heat creep, files failing, or freezing. This seller was very kind and a great help. 2ish-week update: I've been using the new printer almost constantly and every print has come out beautifully. Pros: - Prints come out looking very clean. Print lines are almost unnoticeable. -The filament that is included with the printer is really pretty, and it's more than enough to print all the test files included in the SD card -The printer includes multiple test print files that actually print useful things (a tool box, an adjustment knob, a hook) -The printer includes all of the tools needed to put it together and do any repairs, if necessary -Packaging is very secure! All printer parts are sufficiently padded and everything is labeled. Cons: -The construction instructions can be pretty confusing. I had to look up videos on how to put it all together the first time I built it (at the time, the only one I could find was in French) -While the Cura profile, software, and installation instructions are included on the SD card there was nowhere in the manual that explained they were there -- so I actually didn't see them until support pointed it out to me -It's a bit tricky if you're newer to 3D printing like I am. There was a lot to learn about leveling the bed and calibrating everything (I'd only used self-leveling printers prior to this). -After-sales support is slow to respond and never gives full information. For example, they have sent me files or instructed me to do something but haven't fully explained what to do with the file or how to access certain components of the machine -The provided SD card is pretty cheap. It works fine, but I'd still recommend getting a different one. -There is not a lot of information online for this machine. A couple of YouTubers have popped up to take advantage of this and a subreddit was created to help folks, but beyond that it can be difficult to solve issues just by Googling While I am still a bit cautious of this new printer based on my first experience, everything has been going well so far (I'll update if it goes awry or if things continue to go smoothly). I'm sticking with 4/5 stars simply for that reason and for the lack of useful after-sales support. I would recommend this printer to beginners, with the caveat that there might be a learning curve (which is of no fault to the printer itself). Tip: The glass bed comes with some kind of coating on it that can cause your filament to not stick as well. If you take some 70% isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth and clean it 4-5 times, things stick much better. You'll see some yellow residue being removed and once you clean it and it doesn't give a foggy appearance anymore, you know you've succeeded.
