My old ones did not, so bonus for us. Hubby put them together and not difficult at all. Sturdy and stable. Order arrived in good condition. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. Chairs are very comfortable and we love how they swivel. Out of all 6 chairs ordered, only one leg had an issue. The insert in the leg was stripped so the screw could not be tightened. Owners manual came with a email address to contact with issues. Email has been sent to get a replacement leg. I ordered these, not knowing I would have to pay shipping which was disappointing as I’m a prime member but I accepted them anyway.
