  • Amazing TV! Stunning color, high-end quality. Simply perfect!
Style: 65” 4K HDR Smart TV
Before purchasing my 65" VIZIO Quantum 4K, I literally spent months doing research. Some background: I'm a gamer and streamer. In my home, we use PlayStation Vue for television, I play a lot of PS4, and we watch Netflix and Amazon Prime seemingly every night. The TV is a pretty important fixture in the home, to say the least. Oh, and I'm also obsessed with watching sports on TV - NFL/NBA/MLB and Premier League soccer. From my perspective, the TV had to deliver for each of those mediums. I knew I wanted either a 65" or 75" 4K TV, and was pretty certain I was going to end up with a Samsung, Sony, or LG. After taking my first trip to Best Buy to see a few of the models up close and in person, I realized that Vizio had to be included in the discussion. Compared to the other sets, the color pop on the Vizio was simply something I couldn't ignore. While continuing my research, I started trending towards the VIZIO.. which kind of surprised me. It met all of my requirements though! Deep blacks with a 240hz refresh rate were a must. I was coming from a 60" Samsung Plasma with a 600hz refresh rate. Sure, only 1080P.. but I had a hard time justifying a new TV since I loved it. I also knew I was looking for either a 65" or 75" TV, and 4K with HDR was pretty much assumed as well. For those of you looking at other 4K's, I challenge you to take a super hard look at this one from VIZIO. The bevel-less design is gorgeous, the color and vibrancy are amazing, and the 240hz refresh rate means 4K content is truly amazing. I did end up wall mounting this, and the result is amazing. Oh, and I was pretty sold on getting a 75" version until I measured it on my wall. If you're thinking the 65" is not going to be big enough, you may want to measure the dimensions on your wall with painter tape. Sitting about 6 feet away, this TV feels HUGE. I think the fact that it's so bright plays a factor as well. Having it wall mounted with a slight tilt down makes a big difference as well, in my opinion. I did read a few reviews that said the side-angle viewing was disappointing.. but honestly I just don't understand where they're coming from. Frankly, I vehemently disagree that this TV is lacking in any area. In Summary: this VIZIO is OUTSTANDING. Better than many of the more-expensive sets out there, and I can't say enough about how amazing it is. Going from 1080P to 4K was always going to be a big step forward for me, but this particular set has straight up blown away my expectations. For the price, I don't think you can do any better at all. Don't even hesitate for a second. This is the one. ... show more

  • Last time buying a Vizio
Style: 75” 4K HDR Smart TV
The picture quality is nice, which is about the only positive thing I can say about this TV. The software is incredibly slow and buggy. I have to reboot the TV several times a day because it will stop working. Various apps stop working sporadically as well. I can live with all these. The most egregious issue is that Vizio offers ad-supported 'free' channels, one of which is called 'Super Simple Songs', an animated / puppet kids song / nursery rhyme show targeted at preschoolers. Well, imagine my shock when watching it with my son when every advertising break included an ad for a Vuse nicotine vape pen. I attempted to reach out to both Vizio and Super Simple Songs, since advertising nicotine products to young children just doesn't seem right, and neither of them ever responded in any way. ... show more

  • Fantastic picture, easy to setup, and great support
Style: 65” 4K HDR Smart TV
I originally gave this product a 1 star review (below) because it came in damaged, but Amazon was fantastic as always and quickly resolved this for us. After putting in my replacement request, I was able to get a brand new TV delivered to my home within 2 days, despite the holidays o my being a few days away. For an actual review of the TV, so far it's been fantastic. It was very easy to set up. As with all 4K TVs I've seen, you need to spend some time configuring it to output 4K correctly. However, that setup process was smooth and simple. Physically, it's a very nice TV. However, if you plan on putting this TV on a TV stand, be aware that it's feet are 51" apart. Many TVs have a base underneath the middle of the TV, but with this one you will need a very large TV stand (unless you plan on mounting it). Overall, I would recommend it. It's a great value given the price of the TV. Original Title: Damaged upon arrival Original: Unfortunately, the TV came damaged. This picture was literally the first time I turned it on. I've put in a replacement request. Once that gets processed, I'll come back and give an updated review. ... show more

  • I've had it for 40 months. PQ for LED is terrific
Style: 75” 4K HDR Smart TV
I sit 7 feet from this 75" beautiful tv. I watch about 40 hours week, no gaming. I mostly stream but also watch 4k blu rays Cons:. Slow OS and Upscaling 720p not great. I solved both issues with Shield TV Pro. (Roku Ultimate ok too, but Shield much better upscaler) Off angle view suffers. From my 62" wide couch, straight on, there isn't a bad seat. However, if you were having seats around the room, the folks on the outside might feel jipped. After 3 years I've had to do a power cycle weekly to keep the tv from going black several times a day, randomly for a few seconds. I use an AVR and 5.2.2 setup, so I couldn't care less about the sound. Its my first 4k tv. I got it for a steal on Black Friday flash sale in fall of 2019 $1199. So that probably biases my expectations. My room is light controlled but this tv gets really bright. The colors pop and the detail is fantastic. The tv has an endless assortment of adjustments to fit any preference for visual settings I understand tests can detect what my eyes don't see. However, for 90% of us saving a several hundred dollars makes sense to get a picture this close to the best out there ... show more

  • This behemoth TV is a great value on deal
Style: 75” 4K HDR Smart TV
Lucky enough to snag one of these beautiful beasts on a lightning purchase. Amazing colors, clarity and overal quality. There are some quirks; I find tv turned on from time to time when I wake up, but that might be a Roku issue. I tried using Chromecast to no avail. Not easier than the Roku. Tweaked settings a bit to attain best picture quality for movies, standard tv, and sunny days. Purchase this Vizio with confidence. This is a wonderful television that makes watching sports, movies, and even sitcoms fun again. ... show more
