Love this mirror! It brightens up the room and adds a cool feature. I wouldn’t recommend it as the primary lighting in the bathroom but helps provide additional light while getting ready. Had a contractor install it so it is attached to the light switch but a plug is provided as well.

The mirror is beautiful well packed but open the box and left corner have a 2” cracked, but where we going to put it can’t really see it, didn’t want go through trouble of repacking oversized and the box can’t fit in my car anyways, so we decided to install and keep it anyways, call Amazon they were great give us some credits back, it’s a win win ... am happy. ... show more

The mirror was great, the only issue i have is you spend $250 on a mirror and they giver you a crappy bright yellow plug that i s eye soar. They should given a white flat plug to make it look a little nicer. Also the back wire should be a little linger to reach the wall outlet.

I researched at nauseum every single lighted vanity mirror available online in the 48”x24” size up to 400 bux. I’m a lighting snob by career so a descent CRI was important. I also would have preferred either adjustable or fixed kelvin color temp in the 4-5k max. I also wanted a frameless design so the light illuminated the wall as well as cast light forward. But good luck finding those features in this size and price range. PROS: Very well made. Easy to install and comes with a great manual. Very nice looking contemporary design with the edges of the glass being frosted and lighted instead of it being a fat inset light frame away from the edge. Turns on with light switch. Excellent packaging. Excellent value. CONS: Light quality and brightness is disappointing at best. The 6k kelvin color temp sux. It does not generate enough light brightness on its own to apply makeup or shave. The light from this mirror is basically a decoration. It’s not even a descent fill light. You will need addition lighting to light your vanity area properly. COMMENT: Defogging is a gimmick whereas if you need that you really need to up your exhaust fan game in the bathroom big time! You need to suck the moisture out of the air while you are using hot water so you don’t start a mold factory in there. I didn’t expect this unit to be equal to a $1000 96+CRI movie light cuz let’s face it, u get what pay for. But it does deliver perfectly what I wanted, the correct dimensions to fit my vanity and the light glow on the wall around it with clean looking lighted area on the front of the mirror. The 6000 Kelvin light temp is gawd aweful, frikking blue light, while better than the green cast of the early spiral fluorescent bulbs, it just not pleasing. I plan on attaching a gel strip over the LEDs to correct the color so no biggie. On the issue of light color, your walls must be white in order to properly reflect the light from these. A dark colored wall or beige or whatever will just make the light the paint color. If you need the optimal brightness from this unit your wall it’s mounted on MUST be white. I do recommend this unit providing u r not expecting it to be your primary light source. ... show more

This mirror looks very luxorious. Installing it does require some work and a helper as it is quite large and heavy. There are two ways you can power it, either with the included wall plug, or you can wire it into your existing electrical. I hardwired it to an existing light switch so it turns on along with my bathroom lights. One word of advice would be to get better wall anchors from your local hardware store, the included ones are really bad. ... show more

Bought this item for our Granddaughter’s 16 birthday! Says it can be wired direct, but there isn’t enough wire to even get it out from behind the mirror, much less to the makeup box! Finally got it hung, and it worked about 3-4 weeks, then won’t turn on. Waste of money!

I've had these installed in my bathroom for a few weeks and I really like how they look. I ordered two these and when I went to install them noticed both had scratches on them contacted Amazon and received replacements quickly. Of the replacement one is perfect and the other has a small blemish in the glass but as it is not super noticeable I decided to keep them. ... show more
