Honestly it overheats sometimes, but I've had it for a while before I went more professional with Sundown & Deaf Bounce. I must say though I pushed this thing, had it running speakers and a subwoofer damn near maxing it out every time I drive, and it still works like a champ!

Wanted a hifonics amp for awhile after watching a video on youtube with someone using a 1606D brutus. Heard stories and all this other stuff about hifonics in recent years, so I was hoping I wouldn't be let down. I don't know how the amps are now compared to the old ones, but this one makes me happy. My current setup is nothing fancy, stock stereo for now, kicker KISLOC2, and 2-12" pyramid subs in pyramid bandpass box. I haven't figured a way to wire in my amp fully yet but I have 4 gauge knukonceptz wire to use. I used a 6 gauge jumper cable with one side cut off to test the amp with. So far I'm running it mostly untouched, only thing changed was gain. For my setup it might be overkill, but I'm happy with it for sure. It did come with a hole in the box, nothing missing or damaged however. *Update* 12/28/23 It's a beast. The pyramid speakers didn't last at all, expected as they were cheap. Got 2 skar 12s rated 1600w. They flex like crazy, my car drops in rpm at lights if volumes left up. Again, happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. So far this amplifier is pretty impressive. Makes tons of power and looks great. You will definitely need to upgrade your electrical a bit to safely run this amplifier an extra battery to support up to 3000 watts RMS.

Have this Amp running two 4 inch and two 6 inch. And two kicker 12 inch the Amp sounds great but gets hot and shuts off the much. Even use a external fan and still gets really hot.

This is a piece of junk. Won't turn off until u remove the power cord. I'm immediately requested a refund and this company keeps saying they sent me a prepaid label but never did! Amazon refused to help too. I paid almost 200$ for this. Amazon keeps telling me it's a 3rd party company even tho I ordered from Amazon! I guess I'm stuck with a piece of junk!🤬🤬

So it began with a high phonics Zeus model which sounded great I had for JL audio speakers, C series, components in the front coaxial in the back. Everything sounded good amplifier ran nice and cool no issues. Read about the Brutus series saw that I had a couple extra features I liked it had better power transfer to sound. It has less distortion and uses power more efficiently. I installed on the same footprint it was the same footprint as the Zeus but what a difference. The base output was stronger the highs were clearer overall song quality was totally noticeable. I’ve been doing car audio for 25 years and I was very impressed with these amplifiers. But if I was starting from scratch I probably would’ve just bought the Brutus to begin with. I also just ordered a 1900 Brutus mono amp that’s on the way that is going to be an upgrade from the Zeus 3300 will see how it sounds

Full Amazon Build. (….as far as the major components go, minus the 320amp JS Alternator. Pioneer 8600 Avic-Nex deck / loaded. Stock tweets in the pillars ~ off the deck. 4 Kicker Yellow 2ways for the doors / Matched to a Hifonics BG1600 4. 2 CT Sounds Strato D4 10’s / Matched to a Hifonics BG3300 1D mono. BBox dual chamber ported box. ~ (Modified, factory cutouts had to be opened up to receive the Strato’s, 2 distribution blocks placed internally for the leads, and the stock connectors on each side removed to steal posts on one side with a 1/2” pass through drilled out of the center baffle. 3/4” Hardwood plates cut to mount inside the 1/2” recess on either side to sure it up.) **Love these amps!, price point, on point! Quality and stability I’d expect from something 2-3x the price!?** The two D4 Strato 10’s slap for sure! Wish I could’ve run the Meso’s, but they were sold out?! No mystery why, since they’re the last in line beyond these, and these kill it! Juiced the 4ohm twins with the Hifonics 3300 1.D wired to 1ohm. Both amps professionally tuned by the local Bassheds, and dialed back just a bit, for the break in. These are eating a clean 950w +-each, with the engine off, and plenty left in ‘em. This is the second build I’ve run the BG (BRUTUS GAMMA) Series amps for, with Zero Complaint. The JS 320 keeps the system fed without flexing the headlights, and no extra battery. Can’t wait to bring ‘em up to full capacity, but I’m diggin’ it so far!, and at this price point, what’s to say?!
