Very impressed so far. Set up was a breeze--just took my laptop into the room and used it to sign into my Roku account then activated the TV. Despite what I read, the audio is very good for built-in speakers and would easily suffice if you didn't want a soundbar/external audio source. Works seamlessly with a Bluray player. Amazon Prime plays flawlessly. The picture is excellent. Almost wish I'd bought the next size up, but I'm going to have to get used to this 55" before doing that. And the price can't be beat--I paid $249.99 but I see it's gone up slightly. I'd put this up against any $1,000 TV out there. EDIT: If you're planning on using bluetooth, forget it. Even though the "Compare With Similar Items" shows the TV has bluetooth, it does not. ... show more

The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because control sometimes responds a bit slowly. I'm so thankful for the whole "buy a new TV" process.....I was scared to death about getting a new TV but this ROKU TV has been just as good as my older Samsung that ROKU replaced. The price difference was a blessing as it saved several hundreds of dollars from 2014 Samsung Black Friday purchase. When I started to look for a new TV ROKU was sold out and I was not supposed to be able to get one until mid February .... BUT ..... it came well before that. I could handle setting it up (because of my wonderful GrandSon) .... but it was easy enuf to do by myself! One thing I like a lot is that this TV does turn itself off after an extended time - not sure if that can be changed. And, one thing I think is a bit negative is the sound is much lower than previous TV - not sure if that can be changed? But, I can turn it up and I'm looking forward to getting an outside speaker possibly. The beautiful picture is awesome and I'm thankful for all of the programming I have available. Today's TV is amazing because I can remember the first RCA TV my childhood home had. One of my family's life memories is my dad turning on the "box" and when the TV came on I ran up my Dad's leg screaming & pointing "Pic Pic, Daddy. Pic Pic!" ....... hours in front of that TV box watching Howdy Doody and Buffalo Bob got me thru my early years. Yes, the TV box practically raised me. I loved it then & even more now because of the big wide screen, the beautiful colors, and variety of programming. ROKU is awesome. PLUS....the big pieces of carboard that I cut from the packing box have served as window covers for me during this recent terrible below 0* weather. I tuck them into my window frames at night and remove them when the sun comes out in the morning. I can tell a big difference in warmth in my LR ..... "Who knew?" ... show more

I was told I was going to be given a replacement well over a year ago as the one I had received came broken and opened. Contacted Roku again today in regards as an update to that, explained to them multiple times I do not have the TV as I ordered it in 2024, they insisted on requesting the serial number after I told them multiple times I do not have it. Its as if they were not paying attention to my concerns. I did not get compensated by Roku themselves or given a replacement as promised as it has been well over a year, with no updates/communication, they said it was only a year warranty even though multiple associates from Amazon has confirmed I have purchased the 2 year warranty and Roku is able to replace it. I feel ripped off and really upset as my family members have highly suggested this brand. I would also like to heavily express the item was OPENED and broken and they insisted on receiving a serial number TWO YEARS later after communicating I did not have it. Just overall disappointed as they paid no mind to what I had to say, not sure why I bought a warranty as well. As well for the Amazon supervisor I spoke with stated she cant do anything even though I was being led on by the other associates for almost 2 years. Also dont purchase the warranty apparently they wont do anything either ... show more
