At the time of purchaseing this tv there was only 1 review, and at a lower price, but after extensive research and owning the slightly smaller 75in version of this LG smart tv that I've been completely satisfied with and is only a yesr old. I decided this 86in would fit my needs then would use the 75in in another room in the house.. Let's start from delivery to unboxing then set up where flawless, can't believe the negative reviews or being damaged apon deliverey. I personally can't say anything bad about this tv its packed with features and a good detailed clear picture just go into settings and fine tune the picture settings ect. And you won't be disappointed.. also when watching the LG channels the movies are super clear and detailed just as expected... oh yeah did I mention football games look great too just make sure the settings for sports are tailored to your liking. Like smooth motion mode works great for sports.. just make sure you have good cables when connecting this tv so you get the most from it.. I currently have good HDMI cables and running FIBER OPTIC from the tv through my klipsch home theater system. Even Bluetooth/ wifi work with no problems.. bottom line don't cheap out when hooking your tv up... Updated with a short video showing just how good the picture is! Go steelers 😃 Update a month after having time to enjoy this tv its better than expected! At the time of the first review there where only1 review now there's 26, alot of broken apon deliverey and others having issues.. so far no issues here and can't stress how good this tv is really is ! It's a shame there are so many broken or unhappy people out there! When buying anything on Amazon i always check out the reviews before I decide on purchasing, but when it comes to this monster of a tv trust the positive reviews! It definitely has a stunning 4k quality picture like I said in the beginning use quality cables or fiber optics.. Had it about 18 months then it got a line down the right side of the screen for a week then lost the picture. I have sound but no picture. Under warranty so will have to call.

I love the sound, picture quality and overall look of the placement of my TV in my home.. I would like to comment on the remote - it is way too small for my hands and can lead to inadvertent selection and to its credit the LG responds. Make a larger lighted remote and this review would have been 5 STARS!! I switched from a Samsung TV, one because of the remote and two because of the overall functionality of Samsung. After viewing the LG for only a week or so I will never ever go back to a Samsung. Thanks LG! I just ordered the Magic Remote... Fast forward 2yrs exactly like one other reviewer has reported I too have the exact problem. Exactly half of screen on right side is dark. I have other older large screen TV's purchased from Amazon and they are still in mint condition far longer than the 2 years for this LG. According to the other reviewer I read they contacted LG and pretty much was told here is a list of repair shops in their area so I won't bother asking. It is good to see other buyers have had the same problem and LG is aware of it and like the other rater, yes, LG has this exact TV on sale now... Sure thought this TV would last longer than 2 years. Because of this factor I am downgrading my 4 star previous rating down to a 2 stars... ... show more

In the picture you can see the 70" TV behind it. I now have it mounted on the wall but you need to see the comparison. This thing is huge! It has a great picture and works great. I had the in home delivery and I'm glad I did. It takes 2 people to set it up. It's so big and it's over 100lbs. But it is a great upgrade over my old LG 70". No regrets buying this TV. ... show more

The delivery on this was excellent. The delivery guys took so much care in taking it off the truck, bringing in and removing out of the box. The television, OMG, the sound is awesome, the picture is fantastic. I’m still exploring the features but what I have experienced is great. I had a 75”Hisense that went without no warning in two years. So with disappointment I decided to upgrade to a larger size and a LG. The remote has numbers. My other television didn’t.
