The media could not be loaded. I read other reviews, and almost didn't buy it for the lone star writers, but I took a chance on it for the price. It works flawlessly! For those that said it overheated, I'd bet that you are either not priming it, or you are using that kinky little hose that comes with it for the inflow. It is a little noisy, but I don't care. My boat is not sinking anymore! And FYI, it makes for an awesome bilge pump for a leaky pontoon boat. Advice: Get yourself an old straight garden hose, cut it to the needed length, and use that for the inflow. ... show more

I bought this PUMP because my main supply line sprung a leak recently. Needed something to clear out the water fast. This one definitely did the trick – it’s POWERFUL and can move a lot of water in a short amount of time. I was able to empty my basement without any issues, which is great. It's also pretty easy to use - just plug it in, turn it on, and let it do its thing. The pump came with everything you need to get started: the hose, filter, even some extra parts for maintenance. One thing I noticed was that the on/off switch is waterproof, which is a nice feature if you're using it outdoors or in damp environments.     • Weak Suction Pump
I was expecting a better performance for this pump.- I read a lot of comments from many pumps and finally I decide to buy the Vivosun 1 hp water transfer pump.- I bought new hoses with tips adapters excited that finally I found a solution to the problem I have when rain hard. I have a problem in my parking driveway when rain strong, the water level rise up because is a low level surface and take several hours to drain.- I though to help to push the water with a pump directly to the manhole aside the sidewalk.- Is clean water and I have been using many times this pump, following the poor instructions of the manual but the power of suction is poor. It doesn't matter what I try. I test placing the pump very close from the water source ; I place it 2 feet from the suction place and pumping in a hose away 50 feet in flat ground level to the next manhole and is totally false this equipment have the capability of move 2250 gallons per hour. the instruction are very simple to operate, but is very week the suction power. I test her capability and pump aprox 5 gallons each 15 minutes.- In total 60 gallons per hour. Is a waste of electricity because is 10 amp consumption which is aprox 1,000 watts. Or 1 kw-hour/ per hour. Take like 5 hours to drain the rain water accumulated in this low level area of my driveway.- I don't recommed this product. For me is almost useless.- I expend more that 100 bucks expecting something better and serious equipment. is another piece of crap coming from China trough Amazon which is invading US from mediocre products.- Beside that you don't find description about what type of carbon brushes use, or impeler model in case scenario we need replace this parts which are more vulnerable to wear. I am looking on Amazon If I find such info and doesn't appear nothing about parts. Same thing on the manual that came with the pump. I would wish return it If I could; but I open the box 3 weeks after buy it, and pass already the month to recovery my money and return the garbage. Arrived yesterday at 3:40. Had it up and going by 4. Put it by a big stream and it had a 12’ vertical push up to a pool. Approximately 3000 gallons in 6 hours. A 14’ intex above ground pool. We are thrilled.
