Why did you pick this product vs others?: Worked great for the week and a half it worked. In less than 2 weeks it died. No longer working!!! No error message nothing!! Don’t waste your money.

So my wife picked this up on prime day works as described 9 cubes every few minutes works great. But you cannot just throw these into your ice bucket in freezer as they are not 100% frozen they are still wet so they will stick together. What you have to do if you are not using these immediately is bag them in a gallon ziploc let them freeze further in your freezer then you can drop the bag or bust it up however you would a stor bought bag then pour into your ice bucket once separated. Works great.

If you don't bag your ice, you have enough for one large cup or maybe a couple of small ones. But not to worry, it makes ice quickly.

Bought this for our teenage son’s “major” Christmas present. Our freezer has one but we cannot hook it up due to apartment rules. So he’s asked for ice for years. Since Christmas, everything he drinks now has ice. He loves it.
