The media could not be loaded. Works great so far. I did have a few issues but these were on me not the pump. The top cap wouldn't tighten all the way down. It kept popping back up. But that's because I wasn't perfectly aligned with the pipe. I saw some people complain about the not twisting on. You can verify because if you unscrew the other end and then screw that end in first after adjusting a bit then that one screws in no problem. Also the motor kept cutting off at first after like 5 seconds but that was because I forgot to hit the button for 230v vs 115v in the back. Great pressure and super quiet. Now if my pump goes out $200 I can get the exact replacement and not have to redo any piping.

Up until now I actually liked the pump. It does what is says and moves a considerable amount of water. That is until the pump shaft seal started leaking. About halfway through this summer, I noticed the water level in the pool dropping. Slowly but definitely going down. I checked the pumphouse and saw the concrete was wet around the pump and filter area. I had my pool guy close the pool on Wednesday and check the leak at the same time. He pulled the motor off of the pump to find the shaft seal had failed. He hadn't worked with this pump before and could not locate a new seal, so he asked me to locate a manual. I could not find one online or here so I reached out to the company. I got a reply the next day asking for the link to the product that I purchased. I pasted the link in the reply and sent it off. The next day I got this; "Dear Customer, Thank you for your message. Our parts are factory exclusive and it's hard for you to find the right fitment locally. And we are sorry that we are unable to provide you with a purchase link. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other issues. Best wishes, VIVOHOME Customer Care" So apparently a SEAL is proprietary and they are telling me I need to buy a new pump. For a failed SEAL, that is easily accessible. I realize this is a "throw away" society anymore but this is ridiculous. 10/11/2023 - Since posting this review the vendor has reached out stating that there was a misunderstanding on their part with my initial email request. At this time they say they are going to send me a replacement seal.

Style: 1.5 HP With ON/OFF Switch
I’m giving a 2 star rating for the moment . I bought this pump in September of 2024 . It’s not had a lot of use between then and now . It died the other day . Turning it on it just hums and through the breaker . Most of us say hey thats a bad start capacitor ! But it checks out good . I spin the shaft and it starts up . I contacted the company and I’m waiting to hear back . Oddly which I didn’t catch was there’s no warranty info posted on Amazon nor the MF’s web site that I could find . Also it’s my fault that I didn’t realize what this company specializes in which is not pool pumps . Lol Also I’m not sure this pump is rated for outdoor use it sure does not look like it is . So I’ll see how they handle this if there’s no replacement then this review will stand and you should avoid this product without clear warranty info . I will say it’s quiet and its flow rate is good when running . lol wish it was a two speed . Update ; contact with company via email sent some possible repair options which worked . It involves some mechanical skills so be aware . Company response was fast so that’s another plus . Bottom line pool up and running again . 😊

Ok the one I bought replaced a burned-out Pentair pump after three years. The price is great and when arrived it looked well packaged and strong. I used 1.5 PVC to join the pump to the filter and suction line., Simple to do purple prime couple of fittings and glue. Be sure to coat the gasket with silicone Lube prior to install. Afet priming and starting worked great for my 15,000 in ground pool with four in pool jets. Now what everyone wants to know is how to convert from (default 110Volts) to 220-230 volts. If you are keeping it 110-115 just plug it in to a water proof GFCI outlet and hook up the motor top ground connection. If you are converting to 220-230 volt. Remove the cap on the back of the pump and push the switch t0 220-230 volt side. DO NOT UNCOVER THE PUMP! replace the cap on the switch. Cut the plug off with a good wire cutter. You will have three wires White, Black, and Green. Green ii ground .. Now white and black are both hot! Hook up the black to one leg of the 220 circuit and the white to the other leg of the 220 circuit. Hook up the motor ground and your done.. I also have my pump ion a 220 v GFCI breaker. Hope that helps.. Pump is working great. Will report back in 6 months of use...
